Very old-fashioned pub. Smells inside and desperately needs a refurb. Very friendly owners and a good pint of Guinness.

Would love to see them stock Abbot ale. Think pub would benefit from smaller car park and more of a garden. Lots of history in the place. From the 1200s if I'm correct. Nice place

Top quality ale cosy atmosphere. Funkiest quiz I've ever seen

It's definitely in my top 5 pubs of all time. It's fairly diverse, they welcome the young and the old. They put on live music once a week and there is a very small car park. They have a decent sized beer garden which I'm never out of in the summer months. They have a fantastic selection of ales, larger and wine. Not your usual mainstream brands so it's nice to to try something new or just different to what other pubs have. However you do pay a little more but I think it's worth paying that extra for one of the best places in the area for a good old socialise. I almost forgot to mention that it's a very old historic place.
