The George in Kettering

Needed a bolt hole just for a night and this was perfect. Simple but clean comfy rooms, very affordable, great friendly service. Staying for breakfast is highly recommended! Pictured is the "small" option! Thank you to the lovey staff at The George :)

Decent size pub serves food till 2030 . Good selection of beers wines spirits more suitable for the working man

Wonderful local pub with a warm welcome

Bit of a lads pub and not many seats . Can get very loud and intimidating when football is on. Not really a place for couples to enjoy a drink.

Loved it.. great service,friendly,excellent brunch (not available weekends) and all pub games darts, skittles, etc

Very poor re rooms Double booked and no apology for family member. They said the room was confirmed but then said booking.com took priority and cancelled the room but no communication Would not recommend. The one star only because it wouldn't do review without it

Price value/ for people that need to Visit Desbourough, this place is just great. Small rooms, but just perfect for me for my stay.Super friendly attentive staff too. Definately would recommend.

Very nice pub, friendly people. I took a room over night, more than I expected. Clean, good size, comfortable... Big tasty English breakfast in the morning.Overall I am satisfied with my visit at The George , thank you . Recommend this place.

Stayed here last night. Really nice. Lovely staff and landlady. Room really comfy. Good selection of beers. Restaurant not open in evening but no probs. Lovely place to eat opposite. Plenty of take aways too which you are allowed to bring back. Will definately return. Thank you.

If you like a friendly, down to earth pub atmosphere then this is the place to stay. My Husband and I booked in for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The rooms are spot on and the Landlady along with Staff couldn't be more obliging. Will stay again.
