Lovely little tea room with friendly staff in a pretty village with outside sitting space too. I had a delicious gingerbread tart and a hot chocolate. Definitely going to return for a lunch there sometime in the summer.

Booked for 3 people at 1.30 for lunch mentioned when booking my guests had travelled a long way and we would want hot food arrived 10 mins before our time and we're seated by wide open door in a chilly draft my aunt is in her 80's not a great start we were ignored for a good 20mins and I had to ask for our order to taken all the hot dinners had sold out we ended up having to order a very small portion of risotto which was bulked out by serving bread with it, I had to ask for butter for the bread .I had a small jacket potato that was nearly cold and grey inside. We were not entrusted with salt and pepper sachets and had to ask for the one cruet set shared by the whole room and applied by a member of staff and had to say 'when' totally bizarre ! Also had to wait 40 mins for the food to be served. A really bad experience and will not be returning .

Lovely breakfasts, service slow, (becasue they are busy) but not an issue in such a lovely setting. Can eat outside and dogs are welcomed and provided for in terms of water and some biscuit treats available.Pleasant owner and staff. I have been twice in two weeks...well worth the visit.

Walked across the fields from Kettering with friends and were greeted by Rob and his team. Lovely ginger and lime cake washed down with a luxury hot chocolate x

Too cool. The location is nice, the cosy little building is nice, the staff are nice, the drinks are nice, the food is nice. Experienced in this order. Drawbacks such as the parking are easily overlooked with how comfortable everything here is. Do try and visit earlier in the day as the tables fill up quite quickly. There are places to tie up your bicycle, may visit this way in the future.

Beautiful old building with lovely, friendly staff.Have been here for morning coffee, also for lunch. Reasonable prices and good home cooked food.Today we visited for a 50th anniversary tea party. Perfect ambience, excellent service.

Stopped here for another delicious lunch & was able to sit outside for once as the weather was so nice. Vegetarians and gluten free catered for - in fact the majority of the amazing cakes are gf. I had the gf savoury tart with homemade coleslaw (pictured) & the Devil's food cake (gf) with cream (pictured). Service was prompt & friendly as usual. Cash only.
