The Palmichael in Kettering

OUTSTANDING!We went tonight for valentines. The set menu was great, full of choice and veriety. The service was prompt, efficient and very very polite. The prices are reasonable, the portions don't look much but honestly so so filling. That dessert.... OH MY.Haven't a single negative about The Palmichael. Keep up the good work.

Always been a fan of the Palmichael as I’ve found the food and service to be consistently high. Expectations were exceeded further at Christmas. Booked a table for Christmas Day, and as a veggie, I requested Christmas dinner minus the meat when confirming my menu. On the actual day I was served a wonderful veg Wellington option complete with veg pigs in blankets. Food was fabulous and service amazing. Special thanks to Robin Glen who went above and beyond. Highly recommend this restaurant

My 1st visit to the palmichael this evening we arrived at 5.30pm and was seated the restaurant was very clean and had a warming feeling we ordered wine and then gave our choices for starters and mains within 5 minutes our starters arrived very well presented and just the job for two people to share we finished our starters and within around 5 minutes our mains came out which I thought was far to soon after just savouring our starter again the main courses were delicious and well recommended no complaints about the food quality was exceptional at 6.25pm we were asked if we wanted any sweets which we declined as we were over full within an hour we had arrived started a bottle of wine and had consumed our starter and main course in our opinion it would have been much more pleasant to have let our starters settled down for twenty minutes enjoy a drink and then fully enjoy our mains when we left we felt very rushed and would of enjoyed a bit more time to chat and take in the lovely atmosphere maybe next time we will book later and ask for a break between courses to enjoy our evening. Food was fantastic well done 👏

Excellent meal tonight as first time customers. The food was superb and couldn't be faulted.Front of house Staff and waiting staff all very professional, very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. The flavours in the dishes were delicious and good portions.Would have given 5 stars without hesitation if it wasn't quite so noisy in the downstairs restaurant. At the most busy part of the evening we struggled to hear each other. But this won't put us off returning! One of new favourite places.

Excellent quality food with good service. Only downside was the draught caused by the air conditioner and the background noise, but then again it was a Friday evening so understandable.
