What a wonderful village pub, situated by the impressive Eleanor Cross monument (a fascinating historical memorial from the 13th century, dedicated to Eleanor - beloved wife of King Edward 1). When I visited on 26th January, The pub was a wonderful setting for a traditional country scene in the heart of Geddington. Wonderful freshly baked sausage rolls and a glass of port were very welcome, thank you.

Just stopped for a drink in the lovely village of Geddington, which was very reasonably priced. The dog had a free bonio and a water bowl.

The star inn is a lovely pub! Bar staff were friendly and very polite! They were very quick to take our lunch orders. Which when we got our lunch they came very quick. As there was 8 of us in our party booking. The meals were homemade. Lots of salad on the plates. All in all. Very nice place to eat out in.
