Roast dinner was superb, very polite staff and comfortable dining experience

Very disappointed in the meal ordered fish and chips batter on the fish was far to thick and chips to thick and wasn't to my liking , and why you put the fish on top of the chips ys beyond me I like my food so you can see what your eating . Also IF all four of us was having fish you need to get another fish fryer or two not just have one that only fries one piece of fishService can't not fault and atmosphere very good and not badly priced

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I can't recommend this place more. I would definitely go here again.

Booked a table on Saturday night, the restaurant was almost empty with only 1 other couple there. The waitingstaff took a very long time to ask us what drinks we wanted and an even longer time to take our food order. We didn't realise you have to ring the bell, a bit unnecessary as there was no one else there.The food was average with the potion of risotto being very small indeed. The crumble was a very small potion, pavlova should be a homemade.meringue not shop bought and the warm chocolate fudge cake was cold. Overall a disappointing meal,. ..

Great quiz night on Fridays. Brilliant call buttons on the tables. (A tad dangerous on the wallet though)Food is brilliant. MASSIVE STEAKS.Really friendly and attentive staff.A fantastic local pub for everyone from anywhere to feel local.

Meat and roast potatoes good did not really enjoy the rest. Garlic mushroom starter very little taste base of bread hard. Service good do with staff training on how to serve and address people

My wife and I went here after getting married on 6/10, the staff were friendly and super helpful. We got a few items from the menu and everything was lovely and fresh, Such a beautiful pub with beautiful surroundings too.We have been here a few times now for Sunday Carvery too and it's absolutely brilliant! Can't fault it. Will definitely be back!

It was a great, friendly and cosy place. The staff were lovely. We went for a hen do and used the private room out the back. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. I will definitely go back with my family and would be happy to recommend it.I am a vegetarian and although the choice wasn't huge, what I did have was fantastic!
