Rude owner . Critical Feedback is laughed off and made ashamed of. All sweets lack distinct taste and is just an abundance of sugar.

The food at this place is lovely! We specially like the vada pav from here. I went on Diwali time(New Year day) and they had a plate of Jalebi for customers visiting. Very thoughtful!The staff are very friendly and helpful too. Definitely recommend it!!

Fantastic place for indian snacks. We regularly travel from Nottingham to get indian/gujrati snack from here which are always bursting with so many spicy flavours. Service is amazing makes you feel as if your visiting a friends place. Thank you Ambica for existing and hope to visit you again soon.

The fried food had some oil smell. What they sell as chorafari is nothing like chorafari. And the guy who had to explain me things had attitude. Definite no go for me. Could be for others. The only thing that was ok was khichu/ papdi no lot.

Beware of this shop. Really poor quality food and very overpriced. Rather choose some decent shops over this shop for Indian sweets and foods. Outrageously pathetic food especially they can't even do dhokla properly which is probably one of the simplest Indian snacks which is very difficult to go wrong. Also, their food seemed off and made my stomach upset. Stay clear of this dodgy shop.

The best sweet shop in the UK, whenever I come to Leicester I come to Ambicas because I cannot get sweets as good anywhere else. The shop has been around for 6 generations since the 1800s and the owner is truly lovely. I honestly cannot recommend it enough

We have order takeaway thali from this place. Fresh and reasonably priced. We have tried thalis from almost every where, this is one of the best available.

Very nice polite owner who served us. He did let us try before we bought mithai. The milk cake & mawa barfi was really nice. He told us they also make buffalo milk penda which will have to try after 2nd lockdown. Obviously the owners are from Mombasa Sweet Mart -Kenya so we used to get our farshan back home. Keep it 🙂 up
