Food was good, really no complaints. We had the Indian Thali and the Chinese/Indian. Felt probably could get more by ordering individually. Give it a try if you're in the area.

Passing by Leicester and stopped over to grab a bite. Not disappointed. Slight waiting time to be seated as the place was packed and people queuing to be seated, despite it being a weekday afternoon. Signs of a good restaurant I guess and hopeful the food would be fresh as a result. Ordered the Indo Chinese Tawa for 2. Decent and more than adequate portion size. It’s a shame to learn the price has increased quite a bit from £26 to £32. That is a 23% hike. Great customer service although be mindful they only accept cash.

Quite a busy place and always very frantic and loud. They are very particular about timings and will rush you to finish your meal. The food is a mix of tandoori and indo Chinese. Big mixed thali to share is good option You get all in one. Service is OK.

I had 'Desi Tawa', apprerance of the tawa was appealing and good presentation. Selection of the starter were good and tasty but the curries were not good. Both the curries were same taste. There's no point keeping french fries along with the tawa. Starter were hided under the salad 🥗. Suggestion: keep 3 different types of curries, add any 1 dessert and highlight the starters. Then it will be perfect. Anyway, Overall was good 👍.

The indo-Chinese tawa is excellent from here, however it is very oily. Their indo Chinese food is generally very good and tastes just like how it does in India. I do not recommend the Indian tawa however. The tawas are reasonably priced and service is good, however the interior decor is very outdated and it is never busy.

We drove over 50 miles as a few people said how nice the food was however the food wasn't that great only rating it 3 stars as the kids enjoyed some of it. For me and my Mrs we found it a little bland and some of the food didn't taste fresh.

Travelled all the way from Blackburn to visit this highly recommended place however was extremely disappointed. Don’t be fooled by the pictures - food seemed like reheated food. Tawas arrived after 45 minutes which isn’t a problem but the food wasn’t even piping hot when it did arrive. The desi tawa was not flavourful at all and the chicken seemed not entirely cooked. The indo chinese tawa tasted ok when it arrived lukewarm but as it went cold it tasted inedible. Not sure if it was a one off but overall we did not have a great experience and would not return.

Food: The restaurant menu is southasian/oriental food, with most flavours mainly influenced by south asian cuisine. Presentation of the platter which was the size of the table was unique (please see image), and can serve upto 4 people. The flavours of the curries were very authentic and rich.Atmosphere: the restaurant was fully booked, we just about managed to get a table (i would recommend prebooking to avoid disappointment). There are several booths with curtains for privacy if required, the restaurant probably sits approx 60-80 people and is HMC approved. The restaurant is great for a family meal out.Location: on a main road, close to leicester train stationParking: there is a side road (de montford street) where you can park on the street, at the time of this review it was priced £1 for 2hrs or £2 for 3hrs

Food has very strong taste. Spices added too much. Tawa shown as big, as the tables are short. Food four, might be too tricky, yet for some people might be enough. Food can not be healthy at all, as the next day visit will be an indication.Overall For an ordinary place to enjoy some food once in a while be fine. Not to dine a like a king.

Very good food. Loved the carrot achar. Would recommend visiting.
