Aylestone Spice in Leicester

Wow, so good!We have had so many disappointing curries recently from local takeaways, all rushed and flavourless but my word, Aylestone Spice actually put care and attention into the food they cook.This was the best Indian Takeaway we have had for a long time and it came ridiculously fast too. ..thank you, don't ever change and we will be back

Just eaten the food which was ordered this evening, the Chicken Korma was awful, had a diluted taste, I had the Special Karahi, this was really lacking in depth of flavour and the sauce was bland and gloopy, the only flavour was from the pieces of chicken and the lamb, the sauce should have flavour too!, as for the other two dishes they were just ok. A constructive comment, If your new venture is going to be anyway near sucessful and you want repeat custom then you need to improve your flavours.

Fabulous meal enjoyed everything we had, trouble is ... we ate too much we can't move now 😊x

Had a meal from here twice in the past week. Food is really tasty, staff are really frendly too. Will definately be visiting again.

One of the worst Indians I've ever had! Can't believe that in a town like Leicester, the standards have fallen so low!The sauce in the curry was watery and flavourless apart from the obvious heat, the lamb chops were tiny and well overcooked, even the rice was awful! The naan was OK though! 🤷🏾‍♂️On the plus side, my belly has been OK so far, every cloud and that, I guess!In regards to owners reply: you didn't take my name when ordering - I'd be happy to provide proof of order, as I have the receipt. It'd be great if people could actually take responsibility for their products instead of dismissing it. I was also disappointed at the standard of food! I was really hoping to have found a good place to eat with outstanding food! Sadly not the case! I can only go by what I received.

Fab food. reasonable prices. great to be able to bring your own drinks....makes eating out for a curry affordable.

This has to be one of the best Indian food and take away restaurants in Leicester, food always very good and great service!Keep up the good work 👍Highly recommended 👌

Staff are great really friendly and will cook meal to whatever strength you require hot 🔥 or not as the case may be

Above average curry. Ordered chilli garlic chicken which I wanted hotter which was really good. Okra bhindi which looked really fresh and tasted great. pilau rice was good, naan, poppadom and all came to £17. It was Saturday night and was told it would be 45mins but they rushed it out in 20mins. Nice friendly staff. Not the biggest restaurant.

Excellent Indian restaurant at Leicester. We live at this town so we have been to a few and this is the best indian restaurant we have been by far. The Lemon Cashew nuts rice is without comparison, and the veggie samosas are truly good. It is a very small restaurant with an excellent quality food. Do not be mislead by the appearance of the exterior in the pictures as these are not fair with the actual quality and standards of the place. The service was superb. Seriously recommended.
