We ate like Kings. Get the Special Thali! Very tasty and was exactly what I was missing due to not being able to get to gam.Very friendly and helpful staff. We came on a busy Saturday at 2pm and they managed to squeeze us in. Very busy place so be mindful, if there is a wait time it is definitely worth it.

The food here was okay, but the service is incredibly slow. The staff don’t really seem interested in taking your order (once you actually manage to get their attention). I probably wouldn’t come back here for a sit down meal.

Great Indian restaurant in the heart of Leicester.Vegetarian and vegan food.Great food.Has a wide range of food. You can ask the level of spicy that you want.Also has very nice desserts that you can even order for take away.Very nice decoration .Long history restaurant, nearly 40 years.Medium low price.Ideal for going on a date, with friends or with family.

This place has been going an unbelievable 50+ years. I've only known it for the last 25. If I go to Leicester, I go to Bobby's. Recently refurbished (again) it is a light airy space, serving the best of Indian vegetarian food. I'm not a veggy, nor are my children or grandchildren, but we all love Bobby's .

We have been ordering takeaway from here for years. Nice authentic flavours and it's one of the few restaurants that doesn't ruin it's dishes with copious amounts of chilli. They always seem to get it just right!Our favourites are the chilli paneer, Hakka noodles and bobby's special chaat!

Good as always. Refurb has made the place brighter. Excellent aubergine stir-fry but where is the rest of my portion?. Crispy Bhajiya were a bit dry. Masala Tea was a let down - weak and from a packet. Standards slipping slightly - Come on Dharmesh please sort this out.

Nice Indian restaurant, with vegan and vegetarian options. Only ordered light bite size food, but still really tasty. Ambli mogo was splendid.

Rainy afternoon late lunch. Dosa was crispy with good filling. Okra and peri peri paneer were tasty, really enjoyed the Sambharo pickled cabbage but we’d give the bland millet bread Rotla a miss next time. Service a little spotty but staff were nice. Not expensive, but not standout either. Cheap and fairly cheerful.
