We live locally and used to go here once a week around 8-10 years ago for chips but haven't recently.We had an uber eats voucher so decided to order for pick up. Got mixed meat kebab, mixed tray, and large battered chips, and 1 pc chicken. All excellent!We added some substitutes in the notes in the app and I saw the woman preparing our food reading them when I got there which is great, lots of places ignore the notes.V large portions, good pricing, great takeaway, attentive staff. What more do you want from a chippy.

An absolutely stunning chippy.A great variety menu, cooked to perfection.And the extremely friendly helpful staff are always happy to cook your food how you want it.Everytime I make a telephone order the guy who takes my call always recognises me within seconds.Large chips (salt no vinegar)9 fish bites (crispy cooked)1 large Curry Sauce.What an awesome start to friday evening and the weekend.Bucks Chippy gets a 10/10 every time.

Best chippy in Leicester and my opinion has always been the same... love the food always friendly staff and service is always great and I would definitely recommend to all.

I live near i use bucks 1 or 2 times per month was in last sat around 5.30 had small fish small chips and mushey peas every time i have had this it has been great this time the food was cold the fish and batter was dried up the chips were dry the peas were wartery very disapointing

Website let’s you order battered chips, paid online. Once I got there to collect. Told they don’t do battered chips and normal chips were packed.

Amazing everytime.... I always look forward to a chippie dinner from Bucks.... only problem is.. what shall I have.....spoilt for choice

Had 2 kebabs from here at 2 separate times. 1 time the mean has the biggest bone in it. The second time the chicken in the peri peri chicken kebab was raw. Like actually raw. Absolute discgrace. Don't order from here or you might break your tooth or die from food poisoning

Nearly £6 for two of these!!!! Absolutely scandalous!!!! The two portions together wouldn’t even equal one portion, don’t think there was even a cone full of chips and I was charged £1.70 for each, absolute madness! Will definitely not be buying from here again, the guy that served me also looked something the cat dragged in and then dragged back out again, using his scummy hand to scoop the 12 chips served up into the tray as well! Definitely avoid if you are older than 6 years old!!!
