Chef and Spice in Leicester

Terrible service booked for mothers day at £15.95 per person weeks a go then we get an email saying they have put the price up to £21.95 and will not honor the price we booked at despite at the time of us ringing them about this it's still stated the lower price on their website. This just just a money grabbing rip off. The food here is okay at best. Definitely not worth £21.95 to be honest it's a stretch at £15.95.

Absolutely excellent food and service plenty of variety lovely place will definatley go again staff was on par and its wheelchair friendly and a great atmosphere 2🙂👍

The food is always good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Recently we ha a little problem with our order but they sorted everything out within no time and gave us a new order which we didn't have to pay for..That's the only place I go for my Indian food. Yummy

Food Average, staff extremely rude. It was my 21st Birthday and my family go frequently as a birthday tradition. You would imagine the staff would give a better service bearing in mind we are regular customers. Staff huddled together, chatting and staring over at tables, coming across quite judgemental, another staff member walking through the restaurant on their phone. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming at times, which is a shame as we had previouslyloved spending family dinners at Chef and Spice but for the last couple of times they have let us down.

I had a great time there with my family. The service was great, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was awesome. At one point a magician came over to entertain us with his magic and it was a very fun experience. The bar is reasonably priced and there is very little waiting time.

Great buffet experience. Just had our Sunday lunch here. Delicious fresh food and abundant options. All stations were fantastic. Very pleased with the starters and curries on offer. The lamb in particular was lovely. Our 16 month old son ate for free. Great value considering the excellent quality.

I came here with some friends to celebrate a birthday recently. My friend brought us here as he loves this place, he would only take us to food places that were good.We hadn't booked but as his wife knew the owner we were given a table straight away. Being a Saturday evening you would definitely need to book.The food is buffet so I took a wonder and checked out the starters and mains options. There was so much choice for both vegetarians and meat eaters so I sampled food from both. The food had so much taste and tasted fresh. There was a station where you could choose to have chicken, lamb or beef grilled and you could add your own flavour of sauce/hotness.The desert choices were plentiful and the they were very tasty. The food was so filling, I wanted to eat more but I just couldn't.I'll definitely be coming back for more.

It's a indo-Continental buffet food joint in Leicester.Food quality and buffet spread is okay , nothing to brag about.I went with 2 of my friends for Saturday dinner and it cost us 18.99£ per head.Can't say it's cheap.Desserts were less but good.Main courses were below par.Stsrter was okay.Kababs were sub standard. There was a live wrap and Dosa counter but didn't tried.Overall an Okayish experience with nice India like ambiance.Full of noise and crowd with long waiting time for seats.

Absolutely brilliant food. Huge variety and the taste is authentic. One of the best buffet places I been and will definitely recommend to everyone. Customer service was fantastic.
