Chinese Snack Box in Leicester

Visited recently over the bank holiday weekend for lunch and it was a nice experience. The food was tasty, reasonably priced and portion sizes were decent.Not a big place so might be difficult to get a seat during busy times. The staff were friendly and service was very quick (I jokingly commented their microwave is super efficient)Looking forward to the next visit and that they keep up their high standards (without significant price increases of course).

This place is more of a quick cafe than a restaurant, the service is really fast and the food is pretty cheap. They only have a few veggie options, dumplings and a curry with aubergine and potato, both huge portions for a very low price. It's great for a quick pit stop and the Chinese staff are so hard working too.

The best Chinese food I’ve ever tried! Beef with aubergines in soy sauce is my favourite 🤩 The staff is really welcoming and friendly, the orders are processed in no time and the meals just moreish! Unfortunately I have no photos of the food cuz we usually finish it so fast that I have no opportunity to take at least one pic😄 Thank you so much for such an amazing service!

I had ordered from this place multiple times on uber eats so I decided to go into the restaurant for a date with a guy who doesn't know the restaurant.yesterday I had ordered about 4 plates to share and we were both full so he had asked for 4 containers for us to take the food home. As the containers were so small we asked for an extra and the woman who was washing the dishes responded so rude and angrily, over a container I would have gladly paid for. It was incredibly embarrassing and I hadn't felt welcome in that moment despite being a faithful online customer. I would leave zero stars but the two stars are for the delicious food and the very kind girl who had served us at the till.

Was pretty good. All dishes were tasty, my only issue was with the beef noodle soup which had really poor quality beef. Was mostly fat and cartilage. Really disappointed with that dish but everything else was 5*!!!

This was my favourite Chinese Restaurant in Leicester. I loved the service, the owner is so friendly and the boiled dumplings are the best! I was a regular here for 3 years and the braised pork with green chillies are amazing! EVERYTHING IS THE BEST. I came to review because i miss this food place so much and was nostalgic. I will love to meet the owner again and visit if I'm back in town!!

Great place to get authentic Chinese food. If you go here make sure you look at the specials, or try something you'd not find on a takeaway menu, you won't be disappointed. Food comes quick, and you might receive it at different times, but I don't see a problem with that.We went for the double cooked pork with rice, and the brisket spicy noodle soup with hand cut noodles.The twice cooked pork was great and had a nice spice of fresh green chilli running through.The spicy soup was nose clearingly spicy with a deep savoury flavour. If you can't take realy spice then this isn't for your. If you come here for any noodle soup, the hand cut noodles are definitely worth the extra wait.Unfortunately they didn't have any steams buns (bao) again, which is a shame. But the pork and chive dumplings (pan fried) were a great alternative.

Amazing food and such good value for money! Been going for years, so much better than just your standard Chinese take away. Chicken in capital sauce, crispy curry chicken and salt and pepper chicken are some of my favourites 😋

Discovered this tiny Chinese restaurant tonight and can't praise it highly enough. Excellent, tasty, well presented food. Swift, smiling service from two lovely ladies running it by themselves & cooking!! Reasonably priced & good atmosphere. Thank you. :)

By far the best place I've come out to eat in leicester, the food was absolutely delicious packed with flavour. The service was amazing food was served in literally a couple minutes after ordering. Very satisfied:) highly recommended for everyone!
