Chiquito in Leicester

Came here as part of a staff night out and it was pretty good. Our waitress (Maddy I believe her name was) was very helpful and accommodating, even as we were the last group to leave. The food itself was good but could have been better. The sides, such as rice was a bit tough so that was a little disappointing.We were charged a 10% service charge on top of our bill of £300+, which I do not have an issue with as long as the staff see that money. Otherwise it is just a 10% additional amount going straight into the owners pockets.

Food is always nice. Cocktails are lovely. Service was amazing this time. We've been a few times and one visit (Saturday night), everything felt rushed and it was difficult to order additional drinks and you just had to feel for the staff. They never stopped. We've not been back on a Saturday night since. Every other time we've been (evenings and afternoons), the service has been without fault.

Good variety on the gf menu. Though not convinced it was all Mexican.Great kids menu.Lovely margaritas.Staff seemed rushed off their feet but food was accurate, hot, and tasty.Was a Saturday in a bank holiday weekend though so peak.

Lovely food, the whole family enjoyed this visit to chiquito very much, nice atmosphere and very helpful staff. Food was well cooked and presented...and tasty! :) fast service and overall a welcoming place. The kids loved it too!! Thank you everyone at leicester chiquitos. Much appreciated

Visited Chiquito a few weeks ago, was a nice experience. Staff were friendly and the food nice. I decided to try out a vegan option and went for the Banana Blossom burger, if anyone wants to try the vegan option then I'd recommend it.

Always liked Mexican food, restaurant is very nice, clean and tidy, staff are helpful. Food is good, ordered tacos, the chicken was diced cubes? expensive.

Much quieter here than some of the neighbouring restaurants - we hopped in as Nando's had a ridiculous wait time. Food was great, service was good. There is a separate vegan menu, although a couple of things weren't available, the waiter did swap a couple of ingredients for me to have a nice meal.

Our 5th AnniversaryWe met on our first date at Chiquitos exactly 5 years ago! Here we are 5 years later at the very same place, the very same chairs & the very same corner! Special thanks to Kai who was amazing throughout the night, Aman & Aneta ,Chad & the rest of the staff.See you all again soon. Paul & Sue 💙 Xx
