Line caught haddock is a cracking piece of fish and the curry sauce is very, very good.

I live 6mins away from the shop. Ordered fish and chips with battered sausage. When I get home with my order, taste of the chip was dry and hard; the chips wasn’t even warm, the fish was okay but expected better because of their award winning product, and the battered sausage was good but could be a lot better. Overall, Sausage didnt even taste like pork, battered on both of the fish and sausage could of been a bit crispier, and the chip could be more fresh….Trying food down and up the country will decide the truth..so disappointed for it award winning shop.

Only went to grab some chips and they were awful. Almost as if they were cut and washed and then left in the bucket for about a week before frying...not sure how they won that award must of been 10 years ago lol

Large Fish was very food but rather greasy, Chips were very good, overall £8 is quite expensive and if you plan to eat there, don't expect a plate or cutlery; all you get ia a tiny plastic fork, so take a metal spork with you. Staff were very friendly.

Has stopped doing gluten free now excluded from having a takeaway. Had money to revamp premises. Not include everyone with a takeaway

Heard that Frydales is good so nipped in on my lunch break and I wasn't disappointed. I had mini fish & chips and it was perfect, the batter was spot on, sometimes places make it too thick or too greasy but this was just right.

The whole family were super impressed and will definitely use Frydales as their new go to Chippy. Beautiful fish, cracking chips, battered sausage was lush and not too heavy. Deffo recommend if you haven't tried yet and will become my new Leicester local 😊
