Imperial chip shop in Leicester

Our son treated us to dinner. What a waste of his hard earned money. Chips looked days old and cold, fish in batter soggy . Couldn't eat it !

This is the first time I used this chip shop and I must say that I am greatly impressed with Imperial Chippy.The chips were really hot and really nice, pies too were very hot and lovely as were the saveloy and battered sausage.I highly recommend this chippy.Its great value for money too.

Average fish and chips, big portion of fish but no choice of what fish, it was only cod. It was all pretty soggy by the time we got it home. The worst bit was watching the guy behind the counter put three enormous boxes of palm oil into the fryer. We won't be going back.

Always serve fresh food, friendly staff. Food very good, value for money, we have been useing this chippy for years and very happy with service.

waited around 20 minutes for fish, chips and a burger. the "small" fish is HUGE, cant imagine how big the large option is. reasonable prices and deals. staff was as polite as you'd expect, not much communication about the order even though we waited a while, and multiple staff were drinking what seemed to be alcohol. overall worth the price and wait. yummy :)

Nicest chippy around, food is always hot and fresh, and massive portions, my son loved his chicken kebab, all staff are very friendly 😀

The fish and chips taste lovely and fresh! There large fish is super large! And you get lots of chips with it as well. Me and my kids always find it hard to finish. The staff here are nice and friendly.

Best chippy I've found in Leicester so far...I don't very often go for fish and chips for a takeaway, probably about once a year, but normally when I do get a craving for some I end up sorely disappointed and let down, not so today.Fish was fresh, with crispy batter that was nice and light, battered sausages were crunchy and pretty good quality (for a chip shop sausage), and the portion sizes for the chips were phenomenal (I massively over ordered for three people).Also quite probably the cleanest chippy I've ever been in.Recommended

Freshest meatiest fish we've had ever..... Not thick with batter!! Lovely white well fried fish and a large piece. Delicious & highly recommend you try this chippy. Prices average. This is not our local nearest chippy but more than happy to travel bit for good tasty fish. Thank you 🐟
