Kokoro in Leicester

Ordered from here several times over the last year. Sushi is fantastic and competitively priced. The rice bowl + topping is DELICIOUS (big fan of the Spicy Pork) and fully recommended.

The chicken katsu curry is very nice with generous portions. The spicy chicken is basically dak-galbi which tastes authentic. Their sushi range is also reasonable. It’s a good place for lunch

The food was nice the services was very fast and tasteful. Would go here for lunch again they have a large selection of sushi and also very reasonable prices. My only issue is that the food was put into a microwave to re heat which just was a bit disappointing but besides that it was good cheap and tasty food

I have visited this place for the first time as my friend dragged me to try it out. Was not super pleased with the food for the price. Such a small portion for the food and instead of the £7 I could have made it myself for less than £2. The taste was not anything special. The seating is very limited inside and was not able to sit down. Probably will not come again.

tragedy! I have not been disappointed for a long time, a woman in front of my eyes was reheating the food in microwaves because she said it was made a long time ago and is cold, not many seats 1st floor of the restaurant was closed, each table was swaying and was dirty, the sweet sour chicken had no pure chicken in it, only half was meat the rest was poultry offal, e.g. chicken heart, I do not recommend it !!

The food is absolutely rubbish. I ordered tuna&salmon set and the Tuna is not fresh at all. I have to threw it into the bin. I understand all business is going through a tough time atm however as a food business the first and most important thing is to make sure the quality of the food you gave to customer. I am not expect the food quality will be a like a proper restaurant at least it need to be FRESH! Will avoid this shop in the future.

Excellent! Delivered with Deliveroo in 11 minutes. Tastes fresh, with amazing flavour. Was afraid that the pot of hot food was going to be small and overpriced, but blimey, it's as big as my kids head! Will definately order again, or when circumstances change, I'm going to eat in and try everything!

We have been dining at the Kokoro branch in Wimbledon for years and recently moved away from London. Visiting Leicester we found another branch of Kokoro and it lived up to expectation. The food is great; piping hot, crispy chicken and lovely katzu curry. Plenty of sides are available including spring rolls, gyuko and more. Great assortment of cold drinks and everything is reasonably priced and clear. There is clear brand consistency as the restaurant looks and feels like the others we had been too. Dropped a star as there is still a long wait as the counter is so busy; the toilets were elusive and difficult to find. The restaurant is not suitable for people who are in wheelchairs or cannot go up lots of stairs- however take away us available. There is also a small outdoor area with two tables and seats. Nice to visit this franchise; would go again.

The food is phenomenal. Great vegetarian options. Amazing price and portion size. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A must visit in Leicester.
