Konak Authentic Turkish Cuisine in Leicester

My go to Turkish restaurant in Leicester! Food is always top quality and the staff are great and friendly. Value for money! I'd highly recommend to fellow foodies! Check out the pics 😋

Went out for lunch, quick, fresh and tasty. Waitress was very helpful. Portions were all quite big and tasty.

Do reserve. Its been a while since we revisited Konak.There wasn't a table spare. Luckily a reservation was made.The food was lovely. We ordered the platter for 2. More than enough for both my hubby myself and my 8 year old. Everything on the plate was cooked nicely.Finished off with a lovely a Turkish Tea.

On the main road..lovely layout, good seating area. Great customer service,nice to see the staff smiling and jolly.We got attended to straight away. Waiter went through the menu, which was nice for them to explain what each dish is.Food was excellent, good quality and made just right.The chicken was so tender it seemed like flakes!.. And the lamb was just delicious, succulent, juicy and soft.. Not like other places they say lamb but really give mutton and its like rubber or rock hard.Kunafa is and tea was just lovely to finish off.Great for families, parties or just with few friends.Little pricey, but it was worth it.

The food was amazing! We were a group of 12 and got two combo platters which is for 5-6 people each. The portions are good and the price is unbeatable. Most of the offerings on the mezze platter starters were good although there is no picture of it here. The complimentary Turkish tea and kunafeh at the end was enjoyable and would have been more enjoyable if I hadn't spilled it by mistake (see pictures) but the staff is courteous and helpful and cleared the place swiftly. Will visit again next time I am in Leicester and in mood for Turkish food 🔥

Had their jumbo mix (plater)for 4. Bread, salads , dips and Turkish tea's are complimentary and unlimited with the plater. Plater comes with grill lambs, chicken kebabs ,lamb kebabs ,two pieces of 2/4grill chicken portion , lamb gyro and rices with grilled veggies. Have enough meat to feed more than 4 people.Taste wise everything was well cooked and well marinated all the chicken and lamb were juicyAs for dessert we had their baklava which was really small and no nuts inside this was a rolled type (small) baklava not the one I was expecting that was the only down sideAll the staffs were so generous and helpful.

Delicious and authentic Turkish food served in a cozy place with good ambiance. The prices are reasonable compared to the portion size. They serve complementary bread and salad first. Ask for free Turkish tea after food.

Had my sons birthday meal here today 30th October..Great food ..Nice staff and reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

Very good quality turkish food. Good service and very attentive; nothing too much problem. The food is worth the price and all dishes were delicious, could honestly not fault.If i have one negative thing about the restaurant is that it is very noisy at times (mainly children!). Don't be put off by this, just book a later time.

Place was very busy didn't book as was driving back from north but the manger accommodated us, had to wait for sometime but he was very polite and professional the food was great the place was nice and clean and different thing i notice was the staff was working together as team and helping each other. Would go again . One suggestion I have is, if the meat can be marinated with a little more spice and for longer too.
