This is a cute little authentic place. Completely halal yet deliciously authentic Japanese. The fish was fresh. Katsu Chicken with curry on rice and hand rolled spiny tuna sushi roll were mindblowing. And budget wise, you just cannot complain. We will be coming back for more! Love the free green tea on the house.

I've been in Leicester for over 3 years but it's so funny that I've never been to this restaurant before. My first time here was super brilliant and memorable. Well, I'm a little bit picky when it comes to food but the sushi chef and all staff were very kind and willing to help me recommend all the great dishes.I had chicken teriyaki roll, tempura udon, and soft shell crab hand roll for dinner. The chicken was very juicy and fresh. Soup in udon was good and my best part was soft shell crab, I really recommend this one.I never give any reviews on Google, it's not my thing but this's gonna be my first time because I'm really impressed for their services and food quality. Will definitely come back!

Would give no stars if possible. First the sushi isn’t authentic and it’s evident when you walk in, also shop stinks and is extremely humid. My main issue was with my last order, I got the chicken Teriyaki roll and salmon and both were OFF. My friend and I couldn’t even eat a single chicken roll as it was rotten chicken and we were put off from eating the rest of the order. Huge waste, when I called in about the concern I insisted that they try the sushi as I saved it in the fridge and was speechless at the fact that rotten chicken was served, they didn’t want to try it. Can’t imagine how bad the food can be if the people working there won’t try it. I was told I’d get a call back to sort the issue and that NEVER happened. Stingy and unorganised place I’m shocked that the rating aren’t lower. There’s a much fresher sushi spot in London road where I’ll be getting my sushi from now on.

This is the best sushi place in Leicester and the price is very reasonable. The nigiri sushi is amazing. It's a very lowkey, cosy, little gem of a place and the staff are very nice. 100% recommend.

Beautiful. We were walking past their shop and couldn’t help but go in for a taste. We got a mix sushi platter number 5. The staff were very friendly and the chef took the time to make it presentable. Also, the prices are great. This platter was for 8 £, I will definitely be coming back often

Inexpensive & cheerful udon lunch in Leicester 🍜After a meeting in Leicester, I went to @kurukurusushi_leicester having lunch. It’s a small and cozy shop. Their famous dishes should be sushi. When I was waiting for a seat, I heard a couple saying that ‘the sushi is as good as usual!’. I didn’t choose sushi for my lunch. Instead, their udon caught my eyes. Why? The Thankri udon just costed £3.50🤩WHAT I GOT🥟Vegetable gyoza £2.10🍥Agedashi Tofu £1.60🍜Thanuki Udon £3.50Thanuki udon came with tempura batter, tempura vegetables, wakame, spring onion and shoyu broth. The udon noodles were springy and bouncy. Love it! Agedashi tofu was deep fried tofu in Tsuyu (a sauce with Dashi, mirin & soy sauce). The tofu was crispy outside and soft inside. While it soaked in the savoury sauce, the combined tastes were amazing😍How’s the gyoza? See me next post on Instagram @ccgyozalover😋This was absolutely a decent, inexpensive and cheerful udon lunch. Leicester foodies are so lucky to have this in town.

Best sushi place in Leicester. The place is so tiny you have to take away but is delicious. When you wait for your food they offer you some green tea to drink and warm up, so lovely.Love the salmon and eel they have so much!

One of the best and cheapest Japanese joints in Leicester. This small restaurant (I mean small there is 3 small benches) is one of the most delicious places serving some quality Japanese food. Located in close proximity to DMU campus and the town centre its a popular spot. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff are willing to cater to any dietary requirements.I've been numerous times, I definetly recommend...- chicken katsu curry £7- California roll £2.10- Nori Thama roll £2.70-Chicken teriyaki roll (8 piece) £4-tempura udon - £4-cucumber /avocado maki - £1.80Open 12-3 for lunch and then 5-10 for dinner. Its definetly popular so seating is luck of the draw. People are usually more than willing to share benches though so if you don't mind a cozy experience, it's the perfect place.
