Sunday dinner at the Oady Owl, unable to book in originally, so just turned up. Unreserved tables were available. The staff were very polite and friendly which always makes it better. The kitchen was unfortunately running on a reduced menu due to staff shortages. But plenty to pick from. Meals were relatively cheap 6.99 depending on what you had. We had the beef Sunday roast.. my only niggle was you could tell the meals had been sitting for a bit under the heat lamps in the kitchen. So could have been hotter. But to be honest it was what you expect.. a medium sized meal for the price.. we still enjoyed it. They also have areas outside should it get warmer. Overall worth a visit if your in the area

Came here for the first time today, was greeted by a lovely chap, taken our order and was also given an NHS discount. Food arrived on time and was amazing!! Service was brilliant and what a lovely experience..Will definitely be coming again with the family!

Visited Saturday afternoon, first of all had to clear the table myself then ask for it to be cleaned, waited over 45 minutes for food 3 adults and a child, food was very poor quality, curtains hanging off the hooks, old and dirty pub in need of renovation. Cant complain about the staff obviously this is not their fault.This will be be reported furtherIve took note reading the other reviews that you dont take kindly to negative feedback but you cant honestly believe this pub isfrequented by people with a certain standard

Stopped on the way home with the grandkids. The staff were great was told it was a 30 minute wait fir food but it arrived in about 20. Great value and to see the kids with clean plates was even better. We aren't local but if i am ever in the area again i would definitely go back

Slow, unprofessional, inconsistency and seriously bad management!! It has recently been taken over so hopefully the new manager can bring something to the table. Staff training and re jigging would be a great starting point!

We’ve all known it’s been difficult remaining a business during this challenging covid era. Members of staff have been friendly to us, and representing their best quality of food and drinks. I had my chicken burger as usual here; really loved it.

Went to the Oadby Owl for Xmas dinner and we were really happy with the experience overall. First of all, the staff were amazing! Super friendly and accommodating. The food service was spot on as well- food came out efficiently despite them being short staffed and things starting to get busier. Food was absolutely delicious! Might be the best roast potatoes we've ever had!Overall we had a great time, and will be visiting again in the New Year, and thank you to all the staff for their hard work today!

Food was tasty but staff was a bit unsure and had to double check order a couple of times. Free pudding was nice and steak was cooked to a tee. Would definitely come again as staff were really friendly and obviously knew their regulars well.

We had our Sunday late lunch here, iv never been but came here on family recommendations. Was not disappointed with food or service. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, food was nice but minor issues like chips was bit under cooked. I will definitely be making another visit as I loved the home made nachos. They followed social distancing rules and service was good too. Deserts was brilliant too. See you guys soon and keep up the good work.
