Fully accept the fact that tables are booked but then to be stone walled when wanting to have a take out as advertised on the blackboard is utter rude and poor for business. To go next door to a friendly but more expensive take out was an easy option. Sorry guys but you have lost a customer m times when you need local support.

Lovely food with a pretty outside eating area, can't wait to be able to be inside too. Looking forward to many return visits.

Rather disappointed by the level of service today. Drinks arrived but had to wait for 1 cookie and a piece of cake. Weakest coffee I have had, even when another shot of coffee was added and not very hot. Definitely wasn't service with a smile, they must be reserved for locals. Shame.

Friendly staff. Food served after 15mins (two bacon baguettes) which I feel is a little long for how busy they were at the time. Tasted good, smallish portions- business opts for quality over quantity. £4.00 for two rashers of bacon in a baton, a little expensive. Pleasant interior and outside seating available with a small juice/smoothie 'shack' for drinks 'on the go'. Cafe in pleasant village setting with local regulars and typical cafe/bistro menu. I would return!

Helpful staff freely offered an extra helping of something when I said "no beans" on my breakfast. Good sized plate of your standard full English. Annette had pancakes with bacon and plenty of real maple syrup to drown them in. Outside tables in a nice sun-trap.

Nice coffee, friendly staff but rubbish, rubbery scrambled eggs and burnt toast that the children wouldn’t eat, expensive eggs Benedict, and smoked salmon and (rubbery again) eggs which needed a reminder to get the salmon. Also, ‘fresh’ orange juice out of a carton. Expensive (almost £30 for 3 breakfasts) for average and wont be coming back.

Came here for lunch after tandem cycling from Loughborough. Very warm friendly service and a delicious jacket potato - just the ticket on a cold, wet and dreary day.
