OGGI Simply Italian in Leicester

I was there last night- it was absolutely fantastic. As soon as you walk in the smell of the food is divine, it makes you want to order everything!They knew who we were from our phone all booking before we even said our name!The food is truly delicious- I’m genuinely still thinking about it. I never usually have desert out but the tiramisu was brilliant- very creamy and all flavours balanced.I will absolutely be going back and taking all friends/family with me.

First time we have visited Oggi and it definitely won't be the last. Smell of foo amazing as soon as you walk in. Service great, food really fabulous and prices reasonable. What more could you want!!! Can't wait to go back!

Very enjoyable evening service and food very good , this was Christmas eve 2021

We had a wonderful meal in this restaurant on Saturday evening before we attended the theatre. The welcome was warm, service was efficient, food was exceptional. This is our first visit to this restaurant and although we live in Market Bosworth, it will not be our last. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent Italian restaurant, good service and wonderful food, what more could you wish for ,not to mention ample parking a short walk away on Victoria Park. Thank you for a great night.

The best Italian restaurant I've ever been to! The food was so flavourful, fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was great and the staff were so lovely. If you want to experience proper authentic Italian food, go here! I'm definitely coming here again and bringing my friends.

Very tasty food, however slightly overpriced. Lasagne was bit too small portion for a main course, pasta was much better in size. Nice, not too big venue but people sit too close to each other.

The food is fabulous, really authentic and full of flavour. The service wasn't so great.The order for the starters and the mains was taken speedily but then when the food came we had to wait another 10 mins for the side dishes by this time some people had eaten their mains so just had the side dish to eat by itself. After the plates were cleared we were given dessert menus to look at. We were then asked if we wanted to order desserts, the whole table said "No thanks" so the staff member started to collect in menus. He then started to wave one at me asking me if I wanted a dessert, as I didn't here him when apparently he asked again and then started to say even his mother in Florida can hear him. I have a hearing impairment and the restaurant is so packed with people that I was finding it very difficult to hear him over the noise. I found his "joke" very rude. Some people on the table ordered coffees, these took over half an hour to arrive and I think we asked 5 times for the bill! The restaurant is so crammed packed with table and chairs, I needed 3 people to climb out their seats when I needed to visit the toilet.It's such as shame because as I said at the start the food is amazing but the service and layout need to he revised and a little more staff training on invisible disabilities would be beneficial.

Amazing authentic Italian in Leicester! Great hospitality by the team, especially Reno! Always makes us feel welcome and remembers our conversations from previous visits l, feels like family. Their scallops are so tasty and are a must try! You will not be disappointed 👌

Great little Italian restaurant on top of London road. Staff are always friendly and very attentive. Food is really nice too and has never disappointed in the few times we have been. The penne Salmone is really nice and the arrabiatta is spicy too! Worth a visit for sure.
