Went in on Sunday evening when the light festival was on. We hadn't been in for about a year so we were looking forward to our visit. Thought it was very quiet but it wasn't until we ordered two drinks we realised why. Pint of beer £5.90 and large glass of wine £8.70. Even in a top class hotel we haven't paid those prices. So very sorry to say we won't be stopping off any more on our visits to town.

My Sister booked a table for 8 last night and mentioned one of the 8 was a child. Is this OK? She was reassured it was but on arrival around 6pm we were told That children could not be accommodated. Please make it clear what your policy is on the issue

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great vegan menu with many choices. The lovely food came really quick and the chips were really hot. It's also a nice pub large but cosy and has a really lovely garden. Great place all round and good value. Also very welcoming to our dog and they brought him a bowl of water and a little dish of treats.

Lovely decor, lovely array of drinks however the food isn't as good as it used to be back when it was The Orange Tree and they served vegan kebab!

I love coming to The Tree, and have done for years! It feels like home. I’m so glad that the food is back and it’s better than ever. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating, and Lauren always goes out of her way to ensure you’re having a good time! 10/10 Really recommend the loaded curly fries. Chefs kiss.

Very expensive for just a drink. £20.00 for 2 doubles My eyes nearly fell out my head. Has gone down hill since it changed hands. Staff and food are as levely as ever but the prices will kill this place. I miss orange tree.

Was good to be back in the Tree again after what felt like forever. Had a lovely time with my friends and we had the most wonderful server Lauren, who was so nice and chill to me and my squad (for some reason my phone won't let me change the star rating but 5 stars absolutely).
