Pizza Express in Leicester

This is a photo of ham and cheese, disapointing. Also don't bother to choose any extra as you won't get them. Food cold disgusting and verry expensive for what you get. First and the last time, hope nobody will make the same mistake.

Went on a Saturday evening for the first time (usually go on weekday afternoons). Booked ahead so no need to wait for a table. Waitress was nice and attentive but the pizzas were really disappointing.The toppings were minimal, sauce just slopped in the middle and not covering base properly, it looked like it had been prepared a bit slapdash (bc they were busy?)Overall won’t be going back on a weekend again, not worth paying the premium prices for a sub par pizza 🍕

Worst service ever. We walked in we where sat down and that was it, we watched other people walk in after us being served 4 tables 2 double and 2 large groups we politely called out to the servers “2 second” 20 minutes pasted “2 seconds”Eventually he came we asked how come we have been left here he said “I was busy” wow! Long story short we asked to speak to the manager “Anka she told us unfortunately there is nothing she can do about a servers service it is up to us if we are hungry to order now or not!Amazing.Where has customer service gone too..

Amazing staff. Food was delicious. Due to lack of chef's food took a little long to come out. Overall great experience

The order was not right, I went there for the first time with kids and was very disappointed. First of all waited so long for the food and then it wasn't right. The staff were not very friendly, kind of rude. Definitely not going back again. The food was ok

Awful! Service was shocking, waiter had a lack of interest in our table because we weren't a large booking. Food was very late, dough balls+ polenta fries were overdone(burnt in places) & the pizzas were average at best. Will not got back

Food was nice as always however customer service was shocking. Felt rushed throughout. The waiter came 3 times to get our order within 4 minutes even though we stated that we would like her to come back in 10 minutes. Then our starters came with mains. Then she came over to tell us that the last reservation did not turn up and they therefore want to close earlier then what they normally would. Then she came over to ask if she could get our bill ready whilst we were still eating. When she came over she brought the machine with her and so we had to put our cutlery to one side and make payment. Whilst making payment she took my plate away from me quickly even though i hadn't finished. Very disappointed given there was still 30 minutes before they actually closed early.

Went for a meal yesterday and thoroughly disappointed.Have ALWAYS had great meals at Pizza express especially the king Street branch but this visit just doesnt compare.From the service from a guy who was blatantly not interested in serving( you should have a minimum amount of pride in what you do), I saw him shaking his head after customers left their table because he had to clear up the plates etc...Nearly all the mushroom dishes were out of stock, non alcoholic drinks were out of stock. It was 3.30 on Wednesday 29th December- hardly the height of mayhem.No one asked if we needed anything during the meal, or if everything was okay, it was US who asked for a jug of water, chilli oil, etc.Wont be returning again to this branch.Get people who want to do a decent job.

Where should I start. Dirty glasses, dirty tables and hairs on the floor. Disgusting. Waited ages for our food. Place is minging. Payed £14 for a bowl of leaves, disgraceful.Such a shame as the Pizza Express in Market Harborough is lovely.

Staff are friendly and helpful. It's busy at times, so there can be a bit of a weight. Pizzas are great, but order the Romana base, the classic are disappointing small. The pasta dishes are not the best. Also a shame to see the interesting Italian desserts replaced with generic ones you can get everywhere else (again, portions are on the small side for what you pay). Try and get a discount code, then it's worth it.
