Undisputed 1 for kebabs and sauce in Leicester, until change of business and new staff ,now not the same , kebabs and curries are lacking something as well as being really spicy not for me anymore after 32 years may have to find another shahinan out of town for the same experience

Not as good as it used to be. Still offers a quality kebab but the owner comes across as surly. Place could be cleaner

It's been there for as long as I can remember (I think opened since 1970), and in that time little has changed. Don't expect a place that looks good, but expect a place where the food is good, and the best sauce I have ever tried, seriously it's that good (been trying to recreate it for years with no success). I'm not sure if it's to everyones taste, but it's food I've grown up with, so I am a little biased, so take that as you will.

£6 for 2 seekh kebab and few chicken tikka pieces in a small pitta bread, definitely not worth it. taste has gone downhill. don't think would go back.

Not a great kebab and chicken tikka today, the chicken tasted pre cooked and warmed on the grill and the kebabs were nothing special. Wouldn't recommend try the place on Catherine Street much better quality.

unfortunately not the standard expected or to the liking that people are commenting about. went there yesterday with my partner and was surprisingly served stale reheated kebabs dripping with grease and naans that were as solid as a rock. travelled from afar to try this place having heard about it, but sorry to say this DID NOT live up to the standard or quality of food that is being claimed by some. maybe it was isolated but certainly left a very bad taste in my mouth. last time I go there.

Shahi Nan Kabab fantastic little gem of a place. When you step in looking at the decor you can see the place has history. All the cream walls covered in the charcoal smoke from the grills, It give the place character. As been from out the city I was taken to Shahi Nan by a friend who’s been visiting here for over 25 years..We went for the classic kabab in pitta topped with a light salad & the classic red chilli onion source & a plate of grilled chicken tikka. The kebab was nice with a nice flavour grilled to perfection. The tikka piece were nice too could’ve been bigger.
