Sharmilee Restaurant in Leicester

Bought some ladoos and jalebis in the afternoon of a day out in Leicester. Fresh and tasty - absolutely lovely treat.... thank you for making my day :-) .

Very good and fresh items ! The team were sweet enough to make their signature snack on the spot after it finished while ordering.

Having traveled from Aylestone to visit this shop it was not a wasted journey. I didn't try the sweets but they look nice and fresh in the display cabinets. I bought 5 vegetable samosas and 5 punjabi samosas that came in a nice box and 2 dipping sauces which came in tubs with tight lids so no spills. Both types of samosa were delicious and had their own unique flavours. Quick service with nice friendly staff. Would definitely visit again.

Sharmilee has become our favourite place in Melton Road for our weekend family meals. We usually opt for the buffet which has great options. The food is always fresh. You can really tell that a lot of care has been taken with each dish. Staff friendly and welcoming.

The food was too awesome and delicious. I preferred a buffet lunch which includes 4 types of sabzi, chapati, puri, 3 types of dal, rice, mango juice, many types of salads, papad and so many snacks.

Not bad food. Busy but very basic. The restaurant is on the first floor with a savoury and sweets takeaway on ground level. It's vegetarian so limited in choice if you enjoy your meat dishes...

Good food in lunch I paid 6.99 for Thali and it's too good with starter main and dessert included with good atmosphere like Indian style 👌👌

Great food and great service. There's a big variety of North Indian starters and main courses and a smaller South Indian selection. The portions are generous and flavoursome and the prices are good too. Recommend the Paneer Karai (rich thick spicy sauce with peppers and onions) and Paneer Shashlik (loads of garlic and ginger in a spicy dry sauce), definitely get a freshly made bhatura or two as well to go with. The fresh passion fruit juice was a unique option too, sweet, sour and slightly salty. The toilet facilities are a little tired and old but not dirty. Would return again for certain.

Amazing food, great variety. The only downfall was the over fermented idli mix however they were very kind about replacing the items if we wanted they gave me a free shrikhand and some amazing customer service in regards to my niece and nephews allergies. Definitely going back again, for buffet or even à la cart! 👍🏽
