Lovely lunch with friends, plenty of choice for all tastes on the menu. Excellent staff who were very helpful and attentive. It was quite full but the service was second to none. Will definitely go again.

Great customer service, though one can expected this of this establishment based on its target clientele.Going further, they had helped organise the private room for our occasion and had even been able to accommodate for some extra guests. Very good general experience and atmosphere. In addition, the waitress had some good rapport/banter with the group.The food was good. It was cooked to a high standard and came out in a timely manner. There were a couple mistakes but that can be expected considering the number of us present.Only reason for not 5 stars is the price point was a little on the higher side and the few mistakes with the order. Otherwise very happy with it and will definitely revisit 👍🏾

Looked for a stop off on journey. Very impressed with friendly welcome from staff and throughout visit. Our meals were served quite quickly and we could not fault the quality, quantity and presentation.Excellent, would not hesitate to return, in fact definitely on our list as we do that journey from time to time.

The food was absolutely amazing. The place was gorgeous and the staff were brilliant. Very attentive. Great service. Lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend! Didn't take photos of all dishes as was too busy enjoying them. We will definitely be returning.

Eaten here a few times and the food is always excellent with great, polite and friendly service from all the staff. The seating is well thought out and the surroundings are clean and well kept. As a result it can be quite busy, and I would recommend booking in advance for busy times.

Booked a meal for five of us today, first visit to the Forge, will not be our last. From the moment we arrived the service was welcoming and efficient. We enjoyed three courses from both the carvery and the standard menu, the food was superbly cooked and presented and the waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive.I can't remember the last time I had a dining experience this complete, it was certainly some time ago.If you're thinking of going, I recommend it and I'm not easily pleased.

We visited here for Sunday lunch. It was very busy and our booked table wasn't ready, this wasn't a problem for us though. The Manager kept us updated whilst we had a drink. When we got seated we were very well cared for by the staff who checked if we needed drinks etc frequently. The food was delicious, tasty, hot and well presented. We will definitely be back again in the future. Thank you.

Never ever disappointed with our local, the hot hobs for lunch are to die for, so lucky to have this down the road!

Lovely pub. They had a few veggie dishes on their menu, I had the veggie sausages and mash. Loved that the portions were so big!! Went on a Saturday evening and had a great atmosphere and not to forget the service was fab. Everyone who served us was super friendly! Will be going back again!

Went on Tuesday 2 weeks ago, quite quiet which was good as it was still on lockdown.They followed all Covid rules, masks, table service & distancing.Staff was wonderful, polite, helpful, friendly & always available for us.It’s a beautiful pub with garden area, outside smoking area & free parking with disabled parking spaces.Unfortunately food was just ok.
