Sultan Bbq in Leicester

The food was very tasty and authentic. The taste was even better than other Turkish Restaurants in and around Midlands. Zhannath, Soloman, Itra, and Venessa attended us they were very courteous and professional all with bright smiles. Excellent experience and will certainly visit again when we are in the area or make it a point to go there.

This place just keeps on delivering fantastic food each visit. If you haven't tried it please do. Freshly made warm bread and dips and salad on arrival and a Turkish tea to end the meal...all courtesy! The mains are delicious, esp if you have a healthy appetite as portion sizes are certainly not disappointing. Alternatively light bites and wraps do not skimp on flavour either! If you're in the area....it even if you're not ...it's def worth a visit. Cheap parking (£1 for three hours) across the road and free in the evenings and Sundays

They r as usual superb, tasty food and good seating capacity. A bit expensive. Whenever we go its 70£ .. Never treat it as a complaint.. If 1 or 2 pound they reduce its good.. But must try, yummy taste

5 out of 10 underwhelmed with my recent visit. The kebab was salty & dry, plenty of better Turkish spots in Leicester. Service was very good but for the price it needs much better quality.

Avoid TERRY.I don't usually write reviews, but I feel as if this one should be documented.I have dined at this establishment many times and also places takeaways, and haven't had a problem. This experience has left a sour taste!Me and my brother ordered a lentil soup of which we had a sip each realising it had gone off as it tasted very sour and clumpy. We then spoke with a member of staff which then prompted another member of staff to approach us abruptly and aggressively.She said that we will be charged for the soup which was around £6 even though we had only taken a couple sips, adding that it's not possible that the soup had gone off and suggested very rudely that we are lying and 'didn't like the food that's why we are complaining to get it off our bill.' Me and my brother said this wasn't the case, and ended up just accepting it for what it is as she was becoming very rude.The woman spoke very loud and proudly as if she wanted to have a go and wanted to prove her point. Her name is' TERRY' We felt uncomfortable as other customers and staff were staring at us.Another employee then came to us a minute later having watched what had happened and apologised, he was very polite and understood that she was in the wrong for how she spoke. I told him that he shouldn't apologise and that she should. He said he don't think she will.The rest of the food came out ( 2 combo meals) which was a good standard with some salad and meze.We later asked for the bill, I paid with a £50 note and they short changed us by £1 which we were really confused about.They all looked shocked as if we were in the wrong AGAIN, giving us weird looks. My brother asked for the correct change. We took it and left.I heard rumours that the service and attitude of the place has dropped, but still thought nothing of it. This is a fine way to lose customers.On another note.Avoid Terry at all costs.

First time ordering takeaway from this restaurant. It was a large New Year's Eve party order and must say everyone in the party enjoyed the food, excellent. We will be ordering again in future.

I have been a customer of this restaurant and food and service was always good, however our latest experience on 09/10/21 was really Awful. :(We ordered adana kebab and lamb donner meals but shockingly we found food was NOT a good quality, adana kebab were not fresh and also over cooked that's why they went too hard even serving dishes and sugar pot had cracks,. This was reported it to the waiter but she completely refused to accept it and made us feel that we were lying and nothing wrong with the food and dishes, she jsut ignored it and did not do anything about it. She did not know I had taken pictures of the food and chipped plates and sugar pot –attaching only one picture to confirm.Since she was not helpful, we just paid for a meal for 2, & immediately left with sadness. we will not go back AGAIN. Good Bye!

Spectacular A great family atmosphere and superb food I may have ordered more than I could handle but it was soooooo good

The service was great, the meat dishes were a bit salty but the chicken was nice. I really enjoyed the pide that was fresh and the base just right

Excellent food quality.Generous portion size.Good service.Reasonably priced.Nearby parking available.Mixed platter had a great variety.Kunafa was spot on too.Highly recommend.
