TGI fridays in Leicester

Nice interior, heaven double glass door difficult to get in as wheelchair user. Food was burnt and cold and arrived after other diners who were not even seated when we ordered. Value for money poor. Manager took 50% off bill. Disabled loo lock broken and not enough room to turn my wheelchair around to easily transfer.

Visited recently and the curly haired table cleaner had wonderful customer service! Very quick with orders, and although she seemed very busy she managed to do everything with a smile on her face. Good food and friendly staff - would definitely recommend for a good time!

Staff were beyond amazing. Made my dad’s birthday very special and got a free dessert on the house. Food was delicious and everything came at the same time like we asked. Thank you so much! We’ll definitely be back again!🤩

Ive been to TGIs before and they are always quite lively and friendly. First time i visited the Leicester City centre restaurant with my family. The experience and service was so poor from start to finish. These are some of the points as to why we ended up not paying our £75+ bill:- waitress was rushing taking our order from get go which made us uncomfortable. No welcome nothing just quickly taking our order which the outcome was our food order being incorrect.- table booked at 1pm. Mains came out at 2:05pm. With 2 young children you can understand it was frustrating.-kids beans were stone cold. We had to return and they did not give the right sides.- other main meal didnt have the right sauce. So that ruined it. All a mess really.Really poor quality service, no sorry or nothing or having an understanding that we waited so long for our food with children. They could have explained and we would have understood. Very clear to see the waitress running around (literally) didnt take our order correctly. She was the only one rushing around, not sure why as they seemed to have many staff.Hate leaving poor reviews but honestly this was great at all. At the end i was very happy to pay for the food we were happy with inc drinks but waitress said she was going to call the manager then changed her mind and said its fine dont worry about it. Again no apology. I understand they were busy but cold food for children,incorrect orders and lack of communication is really poor.

This is actually my favourite restaurant. I just think the food is so consistent and at such a fair price. The drinks menu is varied, full of passion and flavour. This is exactly what I like good food ambiance and drinks I always like it here. Also download their app its reward scheme is actually fantastic. Packed full of rewards.

I was hesitant to try Fridays at first as my kids are fussy and I’m even fussier but I’m so glad we did! Firstly the chap on the door was so warm and welcoming he put me at ease immediately. I had to wait around 15 minutes for a table of 4 in the middle of the evening on a Saturday which seemed reasonable. 20 minutes to by and our table isn’t ready so he goes out of his way to rearrange some things and get us sat down somewhere warmer! No task too small for him, it was very much appreciated. We were initially due to be served by one waitress but she had too much on her plate so a lovely young brunette girl took our order instead, didn’t catch her name but she can’t have been older than 20. She said she was still new to it all but was doing so well we didn’t notice!We had been warned food may take an extra 5 or 10 minutes due to the peak period and instead it came out 10 minutes sooner than expected, much to our surprise! My girls had kids chicken bites and are normally so fussy about the batter on these things but they said they were delicious! Veg sticks were a nice added treat as well (made this mum feel less guilty for the processed chicken hehe). I had the Steak Fajita! I was recommended it by the manager as it had everything I love in it, I was wary as I don’t do well with texture but it was delicious!!! And finally! Pudding was the brownie and it went down a treat with the girls. The manager (I think? She had green hair and a lot of pins!) made us our desserts as we were in a rush to beat traffic home and she gave the girls an extra few sweeties and a balloon dog eat. They loved it! Customer interaction at this place was fantastic, truly an experience.You have made customers for life here Fridays. I will definitely be back!If this goes to any team please tell them hello from the crazy ginger lady in the booth with the princesses! You guys are brilliant!

Went here on the off chance of getting a table, told there was a 45 minute wait for walks, had a drink at the bar and were seated within 20 minutes, did have to wait a while at the bar to be served, as there was only one person serving, but he was very apologetic and very helpful when we ordered the cocktails.After being seated, our food order was taken very quickly, had the nachos and asked for the chillies and salsa to be put only on one side, when the food arrived, all the toppings were brought over in a separate bowls, which thought was good.My main was teryaki salmon, Pak choi and savoury rice, the meal seemed a bit small, considering the cost of the meal, also salmon was a bit crispy.All in all a lovely evening.

Was really nice food and great service too. We will definitely go back.
