The Blackbird Sizzling Pub & Grill in Leicester

Very nice pint in the blackbird, excellent food, great bar staff and if you go by car there's a touch screen on the left of the bar as you walk in, just put your car reg in and your covered for parking....

Went for breakfast Monday Morning. Ordered big breakfast and couldn’t finish it. Really good portions for the money. Ellen was a great hostess and an absolute asset to your pub! Will definitely be coming again

Was charged for an extra meal but that was very quickly resolved and I got a refund. Meals ordered were all very tasty, cooked well and nicely presented. Only 1 person serving at the bar which resulted in having to wait to be served. A good night overall.

Great vibe!!! Debbie was soooo attentive! Really made my Granddad's birthday special, amazing food- really tasty and on time with everything! Even made special effort for dessert 💕 would definitely return, amazing food amazing service! Xxx

First visit for a lunch, happy to see a choice for "small appetites". Fantastic service from Tom throughout! Main and dessert very tasty. Wasn't made to feel like we had to rush our meal and will definitely visit again.

Went as a group of 20 they had put 2 rows of tables which were so close that they were unaccesable to all the party we ended up rearranging the tables as after letting bar staff know no one came to sort out. I ordered sizzling meal chicken was nice but chips were cold as were those of others in the party, treacle sponge and custard was lovely .The company of friends made the evening.I think the staff need to pay more attention to what diners are asking

Good varied menu options for all the family and reasonable priced. Accommodating any reasonable adaptation to standard menu choice, i.e. change of listed vegetable to other available. Ensure that all parties' meal is bought out together, so everyone is eating together. Staff are very friendly and always check that everything is as expected. Staff ensure that no dirty dishes sit around long after meal has been consumed.

We normally have very good service here but I must say today's service was appalling the food was bought out in a very haphazard way and 50% of it was only warm not hot our starters were bought after the mains (were they forgotten)The gentleman who greeted us ,Tom did his very best to give good service but he was fighting a losing battle I felt extremely sorry for him and he couldn't apologise enough for the bad service we had received. He is the reason for 3 stars if not for him it would have been 1 especially when their was a guy sitting near us with a dog on his lap that was licking the table and laying its head on it when told dogs were not allowed he said it's a service dog !!!!

Seasoned chips.. must have been autumn as the seasoning was nonexistent.. the only thing they had for vegetarians was salad, was only told that after having paid for vegetarian lasagna. Place full of coke heads and I don't mean people who have a love for Coca-Cola. Definitely won't be going back in a hurry.
