The Cedars in Leicester

Always had a great meal here.Tonight we were advised the food may arrive a little late as there was only one chef working.The food was bought out quickly,all together(table of 10) hot and all steaks cooked to perfection!! Fantastic service ,well done !! Keep up the good work 👏

friendly service and its quite clean in the food area but carpet is coming up in the ladies toilets I did tell them about it some time ago but nothing seems to been done its a safety issue as could quite easily trip over the carpet on the way in and it wouldn't take much to sort it out they could quite easily glue it back down or take the carpet up and lay tiles down or some other floor covering apart from that the toilets are quite clean considered its a very old pub but landlords are doing a great job in maintaining the place so 10/ 10 to them both and I will return when I'm next in Leicester

Fantastic meal - 2 rump steaks and a bottle of wine for £20 and they were the best steaks we have had for ages. Lovely staff who really get customer service and a fantastic bar manager. Altogether an excellent experience.

slow service long wait for food and miserable staff. main came out had 2 wait for a further 9 mains to get my sauce for meal. hot puddings came out befour my ice-cream which was ordered before. and had to ask staff to remove dinner plates as sweets came out as they was going to leave them. and at no point was any glasses collected from our table in 2 hrs it took to get food !!!

Food ok took a bit of time coming. Manager was happy and friendly think he need to Teach his staff how to smile. You would think that they was all being hold against their own will.

Last minute visit as the lunch menu was decent. Food was good, well priced and came with a smile. Would recommend.

Great experience. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There's great variety on the menu at very reasonable prices. We didn't wait long for our meals to arrive, the food was hot and very nicely cooked. We'll definately be returning again.

We went to the Cedars for Xmas Dinner in the evening, party of 8. The food was outstanding and very good value for money. Carl and is staff were very welcoming. We also eat here occasionally at lunchtime, keep up the good work

Absolutely love this place! If you love steak, dont go anywhere else. The manager is brilliant, staff are friendly and helpful and the food is value for money and tastes great! What more can you ask for!

Well the experience we had at this place was not a good one.we were a party of 15 and we had steak missing from one of the meals which the manager was so rude saying there was steak on there which u could clearly see there wasn't as the meals hadn't been touched up to that point.myself and my partner had come over for the weekend to attend a friends wedding and the experience was shocking!!my meal wasn't great either my chicken was so hard it had been overcooked.anyway that was one thing that got resolved.20 mins later the same manager was shouting at the children which he had no right to do so he is not the parent so as u can imagine a nice quiet dinner with friends isn't what we got it was appalling and if this is the kind of management running the place well shame on you as I havenever been to place to be spoken down to and be accused of lying about a peace of steak when we had just spent £150.no apology no nothing just left dissapointed that we had been treated this way.i have attached a photo of the over done chicken that could chip a tooth or two.😒
