5 Star rating is for Andrew in the cafe, polite, pleasant young man doing his job quietly and diligently. People in this role are often overlooked so Andrew hope you see this and your employers too. You keep it spotless and are a pleasure to speak to.

15/2/2022 Unfriendly and Rude Restaurant staff. Whilst visiting the restaurant today with family we were made to feel very unwelcome, in the restaurant. The first member of staff that we ordered our food from was called Tracy. She wasn’t very friendly towards us. She had no patience when we asked what the food was on the hot food counter. Her attitude was do you want it or not. No smile or manners. She slapped the food order and table number on my tray. No thank you. The next lady whose name I didn’t get was working next to her on the hot drinks. I personally think she should be removed from her position and given training on customer service. She was very rude rolling her eyes talking under her mask. Again didn’t appear to be happy in her job. Didn’t have any manners no smiles. She throw the cups and saucers down on the counter. She didn’t like it when I said a thank you would go a long way. She literally scowled at me from under her mask. The lady on the till was just as bad. The only pleasant member of staff was the gentleman clearing the tables and serving the food from the kitchen. He was friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Dobbies please train your restaurant staff some manners, and customer service skills. I witnessed several other customers receiving the same treatment that we did.

Very clean they actually have warm water in the facilities as and the hand drier blows warm air not cold so actually dries your hands. They have a large selection of plants indoor and out as well as a variety of other shops inside the centre as well. Parking is easy and plentifull and everything is well signposted. Would recommend but allow a couple of hours for a visit, it will be time well spent.

Loved it. They have an incredible array of house plants and also a wide range of outdoor plants etc. They have an amazing deli and a butcher to die for plus a great household section including gifts and novelty items. It also has a large petshop and café .It is all on one level so easy for wheelchairs ♿️.I find it a little on the expensive side but definitely worth a visit.

Went lunchtime today it was busy. Huge queue for meals. We had scones & coffee so went in the small queue. Prob not enough staff working during this busy time. Coffee & food very nice. The fabric chairs at the tables are filthy, badly stained and in urgent need replacing with wipe clean fabric.

Absolutely brilliant place ! So many good quality items on show and an exceptional butchers with 4☆ rated produce displayed beautifully... clothing, books & stationary, children's toys, home essentials and more. Mountain warehouse and Lakelands on site and when your done a lovely cafe to sit and have a hot drink and a bite to eat .Definitely recommended

Dobbies was formerly one of my favourite Garden Centres to visit; however, lately the atmosphere no longer presents itself as being friendly. Staff are often awkward to approach for assistance, and the overall level of service is lacking somewhat. Commercialisation has ruined this garden centre for me- as the former farm shop has been taken over by Sainsburys, which ruins the authenticity of the place. Furthermore, a majority of items are overpriced, and you can get much better plants, which are competitively priced, from other garden centres. I still visit, but often leave empty handed.

Enjoyed my visit. Lunch was very good and plentiful. Very good choice of plant's even at this time of year. I liked the fact that there was plenty of room to walk around shop and a good selection of items. Would visit again will be when all plant's are ready for summer

Huge garden centre with other franchises on site (Lakeland, Sainburys, Mountain Warehouse etc) Fabulous Christmas range of goods including Santa's grotto. Prices are maybe not as 'keen' as they could be.

Dobbies Hickey is the best I've been too, much better than my local one in cirencester
