Had a family meal here on a Friday evening, sat in the main bar area. Food was lovely, we all enjoyed it. Great atmosphere, the staff were great and the place looks ace after a reset re fit which must of been carried out during the first lock down. Will definitely be back.

Staff are polite and friendly. You don't have to wait long for the food, and even if you did, it would be well worth it. The food is really nice and a great price.

Good very poor I had the fish and chips the fish under the batter was a gray colour which as not inviting and had no flavour to it what so ever and then to find a sharp piece of plastic in it was the final nail.Ehen the bill came we had been charged for someone else's deserts. Over all a very disappointing experience.

I have just recently moved into the local area and your DOG is the most incessantly loud and irritating dog I've ever heard. How can you leave your dog outside to bark for hours on end without correcting it's behaviour? Your dog starts barking at 7am and it lasts until 11am. That's 4 HOURS of constant barking. It is not only disturbing the sleep of residents on weekends and weekdays but is antisocial and will be reported to the council if action isn't taken!Have some consideration and train your dog to shut up!

Three of us arrived at 2:10pm on a Friday and asked the bar staff for a menu. We were told that the chef was no longer taking orders. Needless to say we were very disappointed as we had been looking forward to trying the food after hearing many good things.The pub was not busy at all, and we believe the chef just wanted to finish early.Very disappointed.

First time today visiting after the refurb. Place looks amazing after the revamp. Fresh looking, modern, better seating (tables not on top of each other). Sunday menu was fab, plenty to chose from, great sounding vegetarian options too. The staff are friendly, helpful, nothing too much trouble. We had a starter and a main each. Starters reasonably priced and such good portions. We had space in between the starter and main which was pleasantly welcome as usually I find the mains come out quite quick. Sunday lunches are amazing, plenty of veg accompanied the generous portion of meat we had. Superb place for a lunch. We will certainly be back in the near future.
