Upon entering there was not a single employee to be seen, nobody to show us where to go or to confirm our table booking. Manners were definitely not taught to anybody who works at this food establishment. The food tasted disgusting and chicken undercooked, due to this my partner has now got food poisoning and has been up most of the night with a stomach ache and vomiting. Desert options were minimal, appalling and cheap.I really do hate to feel like such a Scrooge, but I can't help but think that may is a little too early to have Christmas decorations up... Unless the business employees are just too lazy to have removed them from 5 months ago. This is not a restaurant I will be eating at again, not an experience I'd like to have again.

Used to go here alot and food was good and staff were helpful. Went on the 11th April and found many problems.Firstly the Christmas decorations were still up. There was no greater at the entrance then nonone to show you to your seat. Then we must have waited 20 min for our drinks that were either flat or cheap fizzy drinks. The food was cold and some labeled wrong. The chairs and other furniture looked like it was falling apart. The staff were slow and didn't clear plates quick, one member had jogging bottoms on and work boots and was absolutely filthy. Will not be going again disgusting.

Really gone down hill again. There was no greater at he door and half the lights didn't seem to work as you went upstairs. The Pepsi was well watered down. The food although tasty was pretty cold and the plates piled up. Dissapointing

Since i last visited the venue has slipped in it's own standards. Last year the food was better quality and cooked better. This time (30/01/2016) The food was over cooked, they put me and my partner around the side and i had to ask a waitress where the drinks were 20 minutes later. We felt forgot about. Plates piled up and no one came to take away the empty dishes. They used to keep the dishes topped up, this time there was a lot of empty food Ban-Marie's. It was like the staff did not care.I cannot see the point of this place anymore. I found the place rather slap dash and the furniture and decor looked tired. The toilets were poor and smelt. The men's toilet had a peeping hole, most unnerving.

The Real China buffet in Leicester is AWESOME! First of all, I did some research on it before I came. I saw some bad reviews on TripAdvisor. However, those reviews are nearly two or three years ago. After talking to the manager there, I know they changed everything from management team to staff and the food. You may had some bad experience before, but for now they are doing it very well. Different time slots have different price, do check it before eating. Meanwhile, different prices have different types food. The price is from 6.95 per person. It's really valuable including Seafood, Starters, Main courses, soup, ice cream, rice and noodles, teppanyaki, sushi, desserts and fruits. I really like the fried chicken wings, King Prawn with Ginger & Spring Onion, Chicken in Satay Sauce and the desserts!

When someone told me China was the fastest growing country in the world, I immediately wanted to try Real China. Little did I know that it was the fastest growing country in food poisoning and diarrhea. In my eyes bringing out fresh food in a buffet is a major key and I would then go on to say they played themselves. But for £12.95 for a plate of ass. The real question is, did they play us?

Absolutely the worst Chinese Buffet I have ever been to. Never again. The food was cold, lack of variety - what WAS available tasted average at best. It was freezing where we sat, there was an electric fan heater in the corner which other customers kept turning off and the waitress kept turning off. Absolutely no customer service...the waiters were talking in Chinese as we were paying and were clearly talking about us right in front of us. Many couldnt understand what I was asking. I went to one of the chefs to ask for a plate..he pointed to a pile which i picked up and had BLOOD on it from uncooked meat. I was absolutely disgusted by it all.

Real China Leicester. How horrible. Most of the food was tough and cold. Even the chefs ordered a mcdonalds instead of eating there. You can just see the mcdonalds over the counter urgh never again. My indestructible stomach has even started making unhappy noises. The variety was good, I think if they just cut down the menu and concentrated on getting it right, it would be so much nicer. The staff were very friendly but seemed incredibly rushed. I suggest to the management to have more staff, less choice of food and employ a better chef.If you want a guaranteed lovely Chinese try Terracotta.

This has got to be the best Chinese buffet style restaurant I've been to. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the food was amazing. We paid £11 for 'eat as much as you want', and we certainly got our money's worth.Very highly recommended.

The chicken wings are fabulous. I could go every night just for them. They also make great dumplings and other tasty starters. The mains are a bit samey but their veggie options are yum!
