Turtle Bay in Leicester

The atmosphere was pretty good, food was nice and staff were really friendly. The location is great, right at the heart of town next to the Highcross shopping centre. Parking is close by and only a couple of quid. Great to round off a night or afternoon in the city centre. It is also a great spot to be dropped off and picked up by taxi's, so quite accessible.

I came to Turtle Bay for date night with my Mrs, will definitely be going for our next night out too. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We were served by Lila on the bar who made us some beautiful looking cocktails, that tasted even better than they looked. The food was excellent, I loved the jerk chicken. The music, friendliness of the staff, and just the overall vibe made us feel like we were on a holiday in the Caribbean. Thank you very much Turtle Bay!

Had a great time at Turtle Bay Leicester! Our sever Allan was amazing and so quick to check on us and getting our drinks. Jordan and Lila were great at making the drinks. The service was amazing can’t thank Allan enough, best time I’ve had in ages. I recommend it highly.

G The bar manager is amazing. Proper polite and friendly. Very lovely bloke and made some lovely cocktails. Must advise to come here for Happy Hour for two drinks for price of one. Hoestly what a lovely man. X

Great bottomless brunch (2hrs). Good food, and great mix of cocktails. Not really a negative, as is quite logical, but rather than ordering different flavour cocktails individually, (we were a group of 4) you’re encouraged to order the same cocktail as a group. This is to save the time it takes to make individual cocktails, so that potentially you have more time to drink and order more within the 2 hour limit.

The only disappointment was that there was no curried goat available, but the service more than made up for it. Allan is the most amazing server, and was full of laughs, energy, and made great recommendations. What an absolute star! The chicken dishes that we ordered were very tasty and well cooked. Looking forward to another visit soon! Allan, thanks for making our quick pre-cinema meal such a delight!

Awesome bottomless brunch! Definitely worth the price for the amount of cocktails and food portion that you get. Great atmosphere & service was spot on. Will definitely come back again!

Great and tasty food, nice atmosphere and amazing service from Michelle! She is an advantage for your restaurant.. was polite, friendly and made food&drinks recommendations that we enjoyed. Will definitely keep coming back.

The service was great, they have a 2 for 1 cocktail happy hour with an interesting variety. The food in my opinion was fine. I will go back for drinks, but probably not the food. We ordered a starter of ribs, a side plate of cheese fries, jerk chicken and buttermilk fried chicken. The buttermilk fried chicken was the best plate out of them. We also hAd 4 cocktails with a bill of 51 pounds which was great.

Honestly went on an impulse and didn’t know what to expect. But the food, drinks, service and atmosphere was amazing. I’ve tried prawns from other places afterwards and still have not stopped dreaming of the ones from here! Would definitely recommend the small plates and rum!
