Baggholme Fish Shop in Lincoln

Just ordered large haddock, chips, 2 battered sausages and curry sauce to be delivered via JustEat. Fabulous tasty food, hot and delivered quickly. Will definitely be ordering again

Updated Review:Having previously received 5 stars from me. I'd like to downgrade them to nil.The service wasn't up to much plus we had a long wait - which I can forgive.We got home with the food and the fish was unbelievably dry. Never seen anything like it in my life.So, I packaged it back up and decided I'd ask for a refund. Honestly it was THAT bad. I took it in and there were three of them there. I said look I've just bought this and look at it, I'd like my money back please. He tried to refuse by saying I'd eaten it. I said I hadn't but had broken into the middle part of the fishThey then started saying that that what fish is like, honestly it was appalling how they spoke to me so I was quite sharp and said I know what fish is like and this wasn't good enough.Then one of the three fellas was desperately trying to be nice whilst the other two were saying they had no complaints in the ten years they'd been there. (they haven't been there ten years) and the feisty one also said he wouldn't serve me again. I felt like saying don't worry I won't be back. But I didn't.I took the fish and left.It still wasn't great after all that and even the cat won't touch it.Avoid at all costs!!The previous review from Dec 2021Always been excellent chip shop. Well known in the area. I tried their pizza, reluctantly as I only ever go to Tower Pizza but it was v good for seven quid. I had the seafood one. It didn't taste of Italy, it tastes of a good night out in Lincoln!

Ordered chips and cheese with extra cheese. First of the chips were solid crispy ones mixed with bruised, I assume, ones. The funky onion flavour coming from a non onion menu item was disturbing as well. Could not eat more than 4 chips and that was pushing it.

I would urge anyone not to order from here. I had to chase the delivery driver up & down the street because he wouldn't give me the food after i paid online. It was ridiculous, he was shouting & swearing at me & the food delivery provider. I can't believe what I've just had to deal with, absolutely appalling

4.1 average is a decent representation of the food. Friendliness gets a 4.8

Slightly annoying that they don't take card (the sign on the wall saying that the card machine is out of order is that mucky that it must have been there for months), but the food is good.

Best chippy in lincoln by miles, we order from here regularly, amazing value and excellent portion sizes. The battery is amazing, anybody who hasn't tried them yet, do so immediately, you will not be disappointed

Worsed chips I've ever had from a fish and chip shop, chips looked like they had been left out for hours and then reheated in the microwave and then delivered to me tasted like it too. I don't know who in they're right mind would think anyone would be happy with hard overcooked wrinkly, reheated chips. They we're disgusting. I would advise anyone to stay away unless that's what you like.

Would be great if they answered they're phone. EDIT: Furthermore You cant even place an order for delivery if it's under £10 EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE PAYING THE DELIVERY CHARGE. Discrimination against alone eaters. Pretty disgusting
