Bailgate Deli in Lincoln

Always delicious food! It's tucked away, but is definitely worth a visit. You'll be hooked after the first mouthful. I love and recommend the curry 😋

Food was very tasty and seemed to be doing a fair amount of take aways,unfortunately service was slow,some of us had finished our meals whilst others were still waiting. In contrast people who sat in the cafe next door arrived after us were served their meals and gone whilst we still waited. If you have plenty of time to kill the food is definitely worth the wait.

I love this place! It's a small menu but everything I have had has been well flavoured and the portion size is generous! The staff are friendly and really helpful and I love the little pantry section for picking up some treats or vegan essentials. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lincoln!

Open on a cold windy Sunday during Storm Eunice to serve us weary visitors. The full vegan breakfast was delicious, as was the vegan sausage bap. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Shame it wasn't open on the Monday as we would have eaten there again. Understandably, the staff need a break. Thank you for the food.

Had another absolutely delicious meal today. The presentation is a work of art and the staff are so lovely and the premises so clean. If you are visiting our beautiful city from further afield you really should eat here before you go home.

SUCH a great find in Lincoln ❤️Would love to visit again. They took a booking for x9 (+1 dog) at short notice and service was flawless. Pleasant to sit outside on a warm day.A small deli, serves food until around three-thirty.Local produce wherever possible.I recommend the falafel and salad. Generous portion size, never the same twice. Same is true of soup, includes a hefty chunk of bread.Tucked down a side street off Bailgate, easily missed.Contrast Bailgate Deli with the appalling service at Lincoln Cathedral Cafe. But that is the difference between a local family owned business where they care about their reputation and an outsourced operation which does not.Always support local businesses where they care about their reputation and money flows back into the local economy.

Delicious food, perfect portion and lovely staff. I especially love their Falafel Salad. I also love the Full Vegan. Oh, and the Vegan Burger!! Highly recommend and can't wait to go back to eat more of their delicious food. Thank you for doing what you're doing Bailgate Deli 🙏
