Quality fish and chips , good portion sizes !

Excellent fish and chips, I'm a frequent visitor when I visit Lincoln to get my fix of great fish and chips! Wish you were located near me 😉

Went to chippy on Friday and had to wait in queue for over thirty minutes before being served. Seems they were more concerned with telephone and internet orders than they were with waiting customers.

The fish was really good cooked to perfection chips were great for me although the wife thought they needed to be cooked a bit more. This is a matter of taste. The downside was even though I requested xtra salt and vinegar on both it was only put on the fish. The fact that the salt and vinegar was absent from the chips spoilt a nice meal. For those who may say why did you not go back. I had driven off on my way back home 70 miles away. Then stopped to eat them further along the journey. Moral of the story. Keep salt pepper and vinegar sachets in the car.

Fast efficient service, chips were very tasty, possibly cooked in beef dripping??. Curry sauce also very good 👍

Now I'm not from Lincoln so unsure of the going rate round here. Nor was I aware I inadvertently turned up on a gluten free day. Notwithstanding these caveats I felt £18 for a fish, two small sausages, a small battered sausage, a curry and a small and large chips was a touch heavy. Especially given the £4.80 the chips cost was barely enough for two adults and two three year olds. Honestly the £1.80 small portion was laughable comprising no more than twenty chips. No wonder the woman raised a quizzical eye when I asked if a £3 large would accommodate the four of us. Alas the food was of a good standard albeit the curry sauce very sweet. I'd suggest going here if you're feeling simultaneously flush and guilty in advance, calorie conscious, yet want a treat. You ain't getting much to feel guilty about, you'll be lighter for the empty pockets but have sated the desire for a bit of grease.

Ordered mini fish chips and peas along with another meal. Never again. When my Mrs eventually found her fish hiding behind a chip, first cut with a knife and 4 bones !!!! Not little bones, one was as long as her finger. Fish tea in the bin. If you are going to charge top money, we deserve better. Bye

We ordered online and was able to collect on time despite them looking fairly busy with other online orders. The food tasted incredible as always. The chips and batter was very light and crisp without being greasy. Reasonably priced as well.

Great fish and chips, very clean. Friendly welcome and good service. A good choice if you don't fancy fish.
