Castle view Indian cuisine in Lincoln

Went on the evening of 26 May 2022, for works meal out, just 16 of us, but that could have been a problem. Glad to say we all had an amazing meal and evening. Some hadn't been to the castle view before but after last night they will be returning. Thank you for some amazing food and drink in a pleasant environment. See you again soon.

Situated in a lovely spot down near the castle, with a great pub opposite, the food was excellent and the staff efficient and friendly. People were coming in for take aways non stop so it's obviously popular. Recommended.

Nice restaurant. The food was little greasy for me. Not exactly Indian Indian but somewhere there.The only downside to this place is you will never get a table for the same day and very unfriendly receptionist.

If you like real Indian food, avoid like the plague. Worst curry I’ve had, filled with sugar and colouring. The lamb was off and made me feel nauseas. Don’t normally review but food was so bad.

This Indian is an absolute god send. Without fail, every time I’m in Lincoln for Uni over the years (3 times a year for 4 years) it has been nothing short of sensational every time. The most beautiful Indian cuisine you will ever taste, each dish is just incredible. Although the place is small, the customer service is absolutely incredible, management at the restaurant is top notch and I would recommend to anyone in the world that is wanting a lovely Indian meal.

I went here on Monday night this is the best Indian food I have had in Lincoln and will be going again the service was fantastic. Excellent food to a very high standard the only thing that was poor was the flat coke poor post mix but they quickly sorted it out very professional high recommend going here !

Stayed in Lincoln for a few days and came across this gem of an Indian Cuisine restaurant. The food was amazing (try the Ghandi special), the staff were polite and courteous without being over bearing and the ambiance was fabulous. Give it a try if you’re ever in Lincoln!

A truly great Indian restaurant. The dishes are perfectly spiced, with subtlety and nuance not just heat. Awesome food and lovely portion size.

Great place from the first step in. Great welcome. Fully staffed so you won't feel forgotten. Great atmosphere. The food is delicious with sufficient portions. Two types of the Indian draught beer. Worth every penny. Will recommend to anybody who wants to make their evening experience special.
