Flavourless chicken, definitely hasn’t been seasoned even though it was supposed to be salt and pepper. Calling it chicken is actually a disgrace, was just batter and nothing else. Chips were soggy and also inedible, clearly this place do not know what salt and pepper is. Curry sauce was cold and has metallic taste, very strange. Prawn crackers look yellow and radioactive. Vile. Wouldn’t wish this Chinese on my worst enemy

Food good, though if you order hot and spicy king prawns, expect an entire harvest of dried chillies to be in your dish!Service quick and polite, but initially a bit clunky. Furthermore, honesty regarding portion size is needed..... if there are two of you only order 1 rice!

We took our baby to visit this family-run restaurant a few weeks ago. In general it was not a negative experience but definitely an interesting one.The pros: reasonably priced, reasonably clean although we were given a dirty tea cup by mistake (it happens so we understand), the lady owner was very friendly and some food were pretty good (handmade dumplings and Singaporean udon). The cons: the male staff (I believe is the owner's son) was rude, not just to us but to other customers), the said staff also had an argument with the chef (who appears to be his dad) and they started yelling in the middle of the restaurant and the chef continued shouting in the kitchen and the kitchen doors were kept open so we could hear it. I mean I understand, parents and children argue sometimes, especially when working together, but maybe try to make it less public 😀 Also, some of the food were mediocre (hagau and yang chow fried rice). They don't have a baby changing table but there are some stores nearby such as M&S and House of Fraser that has one. Lastly, the service might take a bit long considering that it's a family-run restaurant, but they have a pretty decent view to make it up for.All in all, it was an ok experience but there are definitely some rooms for improvement 😊

Fantastic meal with my family, we had the classic set meal with a large variety of foods to choose from. Each dish was full of flavour and there was plenty for 4 of us with the set meal for that amount of people. Definitely coming back again.

The food was delicious and great portions . I recommend sharing dishes so you can try as many as you can. Our group especially loved the Ho Fan noodles and mixed vegetables with black bean sauce. The staff were really friendly and had no problem with substituting different ingredients when asked.

We went for the set menu as the rest of the menu was too extensive with things like frogs legs, brisket and chicken feet. The starter came out within 15 minutes of ordering which was very nice and the lady came and gave us warm plates for our main but it didn't come for another hour and another hour for the final course. It's hard to get the waitresses attention as it seemed many people were waiting and getting frustrated apart from the larger groups which were waited on hand and foot. Two and a half hours we were in there for which is excessive, I would bare this in mind if you come here as you may need a pillow.Although, the food was very good and I would recommend the food just not the service.

We booked in here for an evening meal for three but when we got there we were told the call taker had booked in two people. I honestly wish we had been turned away as we would have been spared the service which was so bad that would give Fawlty Towers a run for its money. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I wish I had been prepared. In Covid times, you have to be so careful where you eat. Our table was given a wipe before we sat but there were no condiments left behind. We sat for 30 minutes waiting for someone to take a drink order and eventually my husband asked one of the staff as we were conscious that we had to be out by ten and it was coming up to 8pm. The girl said 'yes' then promptly went back to cleaning tables. I don't think she understood us as after 40 minutes we were still waiting and staff were serving people who came in after us. My husband had to ask again. When the waiter came holding my glass of G&T, I had to laugh. I can manage without ice (as there was none included) but he was holding the rim with his thumb INSIDE the glass and his fingers on the lip. Same for my husband's drink, he was touching the rim. It was OK with my daughter's cider as he just gave her the bottle - no glass, lol!! Luckily, I had a pack of anti bacterial wipes in my bag and I gave the glass a rub. It could have been easily solved if he'd just used a tray. Nobody asked if we wanted any drinks after that so it didn't happen again. The menu had some very authentic dishes but not our usual fare with dishes like frog's legs and pig's end -eek! Thankfully the usual curry dishes were available too.The food was nice when it came but we didn't have any knives or forks - not even chopsticks on the table, no serviettes, nothing. We asked for knives and forks but like before, they said 'yes' and carried on cleaning. Again, I laughed and we ended up using the ladles in the curry to eat with. It was comical, watching my daughter try to chop up her chicken with a huge ladle spoon and staff not caring or noticing. Nobody came near our table and after waiting for ages, we got up and paid for the bill on our way out. The food was nice, not the best I've had but OK. If you'd like to know what it's like to visit a Chinese Fawlty Towers then I highly recommend this place. As for me, once was enough and I won't be back.

Brilliant meal-5 adults 3 kids. Extensive menu & delicious Bubble tea! Lady owner was very friendly and gave kids helium balloons after our meal.
