Costa Coffee in Lincoln

Favourite Costa to pop to in Lincoln due to location, near to a good range of shop and McDonald's opposite. Has plenty of sitting space inside, clean and inviting. Staff are always very friendly and quick to get food and drinks ready. Perfect Costa everytime

Great and friendly service, lots of places to sit in and a few tables outside at the front.

Coffee as good as ever. Bought 2 cakes, given only one plate and no cutlery. Staff were pleasant but not paying attention

Changed their teabags. Not impressed with the taste. However, the coffee shop itself was clean and service was excellent

On the day we went the hot water machine was not working so could not serve black coffee or tea. They had no other provision in place, OK if you like milk as they could make milky hot drinks. They could of used a kettle and this way still provided. The pesto pasta salad on the other hand was lovely.

Just so people know Costa on tha Carltons shuts at 6 pm and not 7pm as stated on the website. Apparently "It's not been changed yet". Hence 2 stars, however Mcdonalds was fine!

Repeat visit late Monday afternoon. Unfortunately, things have not improved since my last visit one month ago. Dreadfully rude service, being kept waiting whilst the so called Barrista stared at me whilst cleaning a cup. Then asked for order in sharp and abrupt manner. Very dirty inside with much waste on floor and tables left uncleared. Needs some serious management intervention.

Typical CostaSlow service, expensive coffee and food, poor communication - not even my name on a cup :/Nice coffee though.Saturday morning was quite difficult to find a place to sit, especially since the comfy couches had been made Out of Bounds while someone got around to cleaning/maintaining it.

Visted for the first time in a while. The card machine was not working but was not told until we got to the till and had been waiting in the que for 5 minutes. Ordered drinks and then stood waiting for at least 10 minutes. There was only 1 person making the drinks and she was extremely slow. We then tried to find a table, there were a lot empty but with cups and plates everywhere, the place was a tip. I saw some people moving the cups and brushing the tables down with their hands just so they could sit down. Other people walked in and walked back out again.A woman who looked like the manager briefly appeared and put a piece of paper up saying cash only then disappeared.The place was very understaffed due to how busy it was but the manager didn't seem bothered. For over 7 quid for 2 small coffees I think I'll go elsewhere next time
