Gabbys Greek Taverna in Lincoln

The food is a wonderful medley of flavours. The meze gave us a chance to try so many dishes and none of them let us down. The staff are charming. We will definitely be going back!

Excellent food, staff and decoration! Now it is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Lincoln.

It's no longer called Gabbys Greek Restaurant, it's called Ericos Greek Mezze house. The food was lovely and Erico himself was brillinat and so welcoming. We will be returning soon.

Gabby is the perfect hostess. Her menu is extensive. I have never had a bad meal, her food is delicious and her fried ice cream in honey is heavenly! A definite must if you have a sweet tooth. You'll always have a warm welcome and fun, just make sure you clear your plate, Gabby hates to see food wasted and will tease you if you leave any.

First time going in and went in for my birthday, table for 7. Gabby greeted us all and Was such a homely feeling. Really sweet and cared that we liked the food .5% charge if paying with card!But other than that absolutely lovely probably recommend going later in the evening as they smash plates and do Greek dancing etc

Great food and even better service. We had a lovely dinner but the real star of the show was the friendliness from our waiter. We came for a nice dinner and ended up having an incredible night, I can’t wait to come back

Visiting Gabby's has become an annual pilgrimage for our family because we enjoy the food and she is a great host. The mezze is value for money and there is so much food we end up leaving some of it. What's not to like? :):)

This place is a truly hidden gem! We have been travelling to this place for years. The food is fantastic and Gabby herself is quite a character. Highly recommendable!!!

Don't make the mistake I did and think you are visiting the excellent previous restaurant in the same area. Although Gabby was friendly, providing good service, the place distinctly lacked atmosphere, and felt like a school dining room; no music, dancing or plate smashing as in the old place. There were hardly any diners - not a good sign for a Friday night. The Mezze was overpriced and the food poor. Very greasy potatoes, bland moussaka, rubbery calamari and boiled, tasteless lamb, did not make the evening the treat I was looking forward to. We spoke to Gabby about the disappointment we felt about the food, and her response was that other people enjoyed it (I doubt this looking around the empty restaurant). Overall, a poor experience - avoid.

It was my second visit and today it just confirmed that it is the best restaurant in town, perhaps the best restaurant on the budget but still everything we tried today was the best I ever tried. I was more than satisfied with today's visit and definitely would recommended, it is truly a shame that the restaurant is out the way of tourists and people who rarely come into this area. There definitely should be more advertisement for the place because I am 100% sure lots of people would love the place!!! Thank you very much for delicious food, great company and wonderful atmosphere.
