Been back several times, a busy bustling Italian restaurant with tasty traditional dishes. Calzone was delicious bursting with flavours. Pasta dishes divine Well worth a visit, enjoy .

Best Italian in Lincoln! 👌🏻 Authentic pizza and pasta with a large selection of dishes, service has always been spot on with professional and friendly waiters. Very well kept and classic Italian decor too.The steak is also amazing and justifies the price of it.

Time of visit: Monday 8pmFood was really good! Better than expected. The lasagne was 5tier pasta with delicious fresh tasting tomatoe sauce.Excellent location near the cathedral and castle.Prices reasonable.Service good.Good decor.(It's not Gino de campo restaurant)Would definitely come back.

Lovely independent Italian on the hill with a welcoming vibe. The decor inside is nice and although not the most spacious dining area it gets away with it with the friendly atmosphere. Orders were taken quickly from the brilliant staff and service was fast too. The menu is large and easily has something for everyone. The mussel starter was brilliant, with a super sauce, good portion size, and lemon water bowl for finger cleaning too. Pizzas as the main were again a good size, with the toppings not being scrimped on and cooked well. The tiramisu desert was promised as being the best in Lincoln, and it lived up to the claim! Huge portion, presented well and memorable for all the right reasons.Prices were reasonable for the setting and levels of service, and I’d love to return next time I’m in the area!

Where to start? Perhaps with when we were ushered to the restuarant around the corner from the main restaurant. Party of 5 of us for Birthday dinner (partners 30th), put upstairs; at the back, next to a group booking of 15children and their adults. How theyve crammed seating for 100 into an area fit to seat 30 i will never know.Waitress seemed annoyed from the outset. The food menu comes with more terms and conditions that my new mobile: cant guarantee nut free, sharing food is strictly prohibited, management reserves the right to change prices without prior warning, dishes marked with * arent part of the celebration offer, group bookings of are subject to a £40 non-refundable deposit.Had to ask for a drinks menu.Had to ask for a childrens menu (we have a single 6year old with us).Didnt ask about any dietary requirements despite one of our party members having crohns.Starters came and were relatively decent. Then there was an hour wait between our starter and main course, noone came to check if we wanted more drinks (why would they try SQUEEZE through the rat run of chairs). Waiter lifted plates over members of our parties heads; a huge no-no.Finished our main 20 minutes ago, noone has come to collect plates yet (writing this review as i wait)I'll finish my update later after we finish but god help them if they try add a service charge at the end, because there has been absolutely no service thus fatUpdate: after another 25minutes of waiting with dessert menus, we decided to give up, had to sit with my hand raised 5 minutes to get attention to ask for the bill.Mentioned noone had checked on us all meal, instead of apologising, he called over another waiter and said 'you checked on these people yes?' (To which he replied he hadnt) and they just sort of shrugged it off.Wont be back

Exceptionally disappointing £14 pizza. Replaced when complained. Other food is clearly microwaved. Massively overpriced and under-delivered. A tourist trap.

Food was terrific, prices reasonable. Decor and environment pleasant and toilets were kept spotless. Had to pester for delivery of drinks on three occasions during the meal as they kept going amiss, but otherwise great all around.

We ordered everything in one go as we had a tour of the castle booked straight after lunch, they were great and we had dinner eaten, left overs foil wrapped and ice cream to go within an hour. Calzone was very tasty. Kids portions were large. They could have shared a single portion. Kids eat free when adults order a meal between 1200 and 1430 which is a bonus when your on a budget.

Fab Italian restaurant in Lincoln. Visited on a weekday afternoon and the lunch menu is good value. The food was excellent. Looking forward to a return visit.
