The atmosphere and staff are wonderful. The food was delicious and at a very good price! 100% recommend

The experience was worth the short wait in the queue. Friendly staff with a personal touch, really fresh tasting food (even the dirty fries tasted healthy!), good laid back atmosphere and nice and bright with the transparent roof. We'll def be back

I went here for lunch while visiting a friend in Lincoln. It is a great place with a lovely atmosphere. The food was excellent and the staff were helpful and accommodating. Plenty of choice for vegans, vegetarians and meat-eaters. Definitely a 5-star rating and I wish there was somewhere like this in Hackney :)

Travelled from Cambridge and arrived to a very warm welcome from Lizzie who gave us an intro to the story behind the cafe and its team. The food was amazing - our thanks to the chef. Really great coffee too. The ambiance was great. Credit to all the staff for their attentiveness and friendliness. Wishing you all a bright and happy future. We will be back.

Although you sat and wait for a table for a while, the service is great and the food is high quality. Lovely friendly and welcoming staff members who make you feel very comfortable. The willingness to provide you with what you need for dietary requirements was outstanding. The atmosphere and attention to detail was adorable 😍 thank you!

When we arrived there was a 15 min wait for a table for 4 people. This in my mind was a good thing. And what can I say but I was right.I rearly go out for food and give a 5 star review without being slightly generous but in this case I don't need to be generous. This is truly a 5 star rated place. The price is reasonable and this is reflected in the potion size. Large but not too big and very filling. The variety available was overall good for lunch and tea and coffee selection was larger then expected. Just note there is no alcohol served here, but is not needed as the environment is superb and supports the ethos of the cafe. The food was superb and the selection of meat and vegan foods was good. The kids face at the sight of the kids afternoon was one of excitement, especially when seeing the size of the cake. The burger patties were thin but wide, homemade, like all the food, cooked to a juicy succulent state. Yummy. The nuggets were diced chicken pieces so quality from the start, batter was slightly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Not greasy or soggy or too much for the meat. Best nuggets I have ever had.If you like cake and coffee this is also the place for you with the sizes of the cake portions you will be taking some home, and it will be well worth it.As you can tell we really enjoyed the food and set in a venue that is modern with a classic touch I felt relaxed and that the food fits the venue.

Arrived to a very warm welcome, was allowed to pick which table we wanted to sit at, the service was very friendly and laid back. We ordered a drink and some food from the extensive menu. I went for the double decker burger with skin on Fries. Incredible food and one of the best burgers I've eaten, if you like the American style burgers this will be right up your street!

Everything about this place is incredible....the food, the drinks, the customer service, the mission, the atmosphere and the décor. This is the second time we have visited and as with the first, the food was simply amazing. Such a great value for money and the menu is so inclusive, with plenty vegan options and gluten free options too. Dan who greeted us, was warm and friendly and made us feel so welcome - thank you Dan.My new favourite place to eat in Lincoln, by far! I can't wait to visit the café again.p.s. I would 100% recommend the milkshakes!!!

I went in for the first time with my wife for lunch. We had the afternoon tea for two with mini burgers, scones and a selection of cakes and pot of tea. It was fantastic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was very nice and was too much to finish in one go. At £22 it is not cheap but very good value for the quality. They offer lots of homemade food with prices from a couple pounds up to the afternoon tea at £22. We will definitely be going again.

Definitely the most inspirational cafe ever I have been to. It's run by a charity and staffed by volunteers who are all on the road to recover from addiction and troubled history. The cafe is trendy, clean and is full of amazing upcycled things. To top it off the food is delicious. Portions are generous and well presented. Staff are friendly, lovely and so so humble. Our family of 5 loved it and I am sure yours will too. Every penny you spend here goes into improving lives of volunteers, which will make your visit even more special.
