Visited the cafe for first time since revamp. Sat down at the table and decided to use the online ordering system. Ordered the food and drinks the food appeared ten minutes later with no cutlery or condiments.Asked the staff what about cutlery? She replied its up there at back. Then after finishing meal we still had not received our drinks. Asked the same staff member could we have our drinks. She replied that you have to get them yourselves at front. Would behelpful to be advised upon ordering that you have to get drinks cutlery and desserts yourselves. On top of that the scampi was pretty awdul. Will not visit again.

Woeful. Very slow service, over 40 minutes wait ofor a regular breakfast, then the food arrived cold. Even though the place wasn’t busy there were many tables with used crockery. A manager walked around and did not address the queue, the staff nor the dirty tables; he just looked and disappeared.Enough staff on, that seemed to be unable, or not allowed, to do anything other than their allotted job.

Waited approximately 35 minutes for a small breakfast. When it eventually arrived it was cold. Worst breakfast in a long time. Will not be returning.

New decor is nice, food was gorgeous and children's menu was good. Staff were lovely but overworked as the seems somewhat understaffed. The staff still managed to serve up good warm food with only a modest wait and were lovely to my kids.

7 Mar 22. 3 years since my last visit and I've dropped it a star. The ordering system had gone from bad to worse. Now you have to order by touch screen at the entrance. But before you can pay you must identify your table. Errr, I'm by myself and can't reserve a table and order. It is also a very difficult system for the old and disabled to use, it's boadering on discrimination. Oh the scamp and chips was very poor for quality and price. I CAN HONESTLY SAY I HAVE NEVER EVER EVER BEEN IN A WORSE MANAGED RESTAURANT.......Never again. What FOOL put those electronic order machines in? Not nearly as intuitive as the McDonald system, which I'm assuming they are trying to emulate. During our meal I must have seen 8+ couples give up and walk away, young as well as old. Food up to Morrisons normal standard.Update, my inlaws went to the Retford Morrison cafe which has the same electronic order system. They are in their mid 70s and just gave up, however as the Reftord store has kept its menu boards they were able to order in the traditional manner.Morrisons: Please understand that technology is only useful it enhances the customer experience and improves business performance, with the aim of improving cashflow and market share. Your system will do neither if people just walk away.

Waited half an hour for a small breakfast. Place was not busy. Tea arrived straight away so was finished when I eventually got my food and that was only because I asked the waitress how long waiting time was. Food was greasy, fried egg, the yolk was broken and hard spread out all over the plate, bacon I could barely cut with my knife. Will not be visiting again.

Used to be the best part of Morrisons but now seems to be the worst since they decided to strip away all of the reasons that people ate here in the first place. Food has lowered in quality, service is worse, always a shortage of staff, Food is an ok price and drinks are overpriced.

I went to Morrisons Cafe on a Thursday lunchtime, as soon as I got there I noticed there was only 2 or three sandwiches available, and also very few cakes. We then asked for a vegetarian pasty, not available so went for a baked potato which they had. Managed to get a seat but there was numerous tables unavailableas they had uncollected plates on them. After 25 minutes wait a member of staff came out and said there was no Coleslaw so exc epted this and had beans, if fairness the food was fine and the cafe was very nice as it had just been refu, but safe to say I will not be going back there.

Very Disorganised and chaotic. Ordered at the touch screen for table service. At no point was it mentioned you have to then go and get your own drinks which you would have thought being table service would be brought out to you. So we had to sort these out after our meals came. After around 25 minutes they bought out my toastie with the rest of my family's meals nowhere to be seen. Their meals finally arrived after a further 10-15 minutes to which my toastie was by then stone cold. My wife ordered a jacket potato salad, which was a hot potato in the middle of a bowl of salad. Not cut up, no butter, just a whole potato. Very very poor overall!!
