Orient in Lincoln

Ordered the meal at 6pm for collecting. It was ready when got there 10 minutes from ordering. The meal was not freshly cooked, the sauces were gloopy, the beef tasted burnt, the chicken balls were stodgy and the chow mein just wasn’t good. Over all very disappointing, I won’t be using again, it used to be a great takeaway definitely gone downhill.

Will not be ordering from here again, from ordering my food and putting the phone down and for them to arrive at my door it was 11 minutes. Considering We live 5 miles away. It doesn’t take a genius to work out the reason for the dried out meat etc is because it isn’t fresh and it’s re heated can’t wait for the s**ts tomorrow thanks guys! Top dollar 👍

Poor. Quality was awful, dry ribs and a beef dish that was 99% veg. Had to go back after collection as they forgot part of the order. Won't go back.

Absolutely disgusting service ordered at 1.30 pre delivery. Paid for order to be delivered 6.30. 7.36 arrived no phone call no e mail, no apology or no refund appalling service.

Notice a few negative posts,try calling in and see just how busy they are. If its busy thats a good sign, ive used the Orient since it opened,about 1980. I have chinese meals all over the country and I can say I only use the Orient in Lincoln as it IS the best by far. When you are as busy as they are mistakes happen,we dont like it but its a fact of life.

Food is good, variety of choice is very good. Wait time is about 15 minutes for 3 meal choices. Only downside is with regard to how some of their delivery drivers use the adjacent layby, parking in a very inconsiderate manner. Sought this and you have a 5 star rating

Terrible service, I ordered a takeaway at 7pm expected delivery at 8:30pm. I phoned at 9pm when I hadn’t received my order and spoke directly to the manager who told me that it was on its way and would be a few minutes. I then phoned at 9:45pm (nearly 3 hours later) as I still hadn’t received my order and the manager proceeded to tell me the order hadn’t even gone through and didn’t seem to care or apologise that it was late. She lied to me on the phone and I don’t understand why. I asked for a refund which I didn’t get she just confirmed the delivery as delivered on just eat so I had to go through just eat to get my money back. I’m not one to complain but this was appalling service.

Food is decent but we were told the delivery would be with us within the hour.. an hour and half later it still isnt here and when I called the person who answered apologised but tried to say it hadn't actually been that long.. not good enough.

Have been ordering food from here for years but since its been taken over by someone else it's gone down hill rapidly. Smaller portions, lack of actual meat and over cooked / under cooked. The sweet and sour sauce is virtually glow in the dark and very vinegar. Not buying from here again unless they up their game
