Prezzo in Lincoln

Starter came out quickly which was ok. After waiting 30 mins plus had to search for a waitress to ask for our mains, even though the restaurant was not busy. When the main meals arrived they were poor. The salmon pasta at best was inferior quality, probably actually mackerel . Garlic bread very dry. Very disappointing all round for the cost. Actually enjoyed a Wetherspoons meal more earlier in the day!

Food was OK and gluten-free menu was extensive. However, the restaurant and toilets are looking tired. Service was poor: only one waitress was on duty with quite a few tables to serve. She did her best but she was simply stretched too thin. Not good value for money.

Had a meal with family last night for grand daughters birthday, always a great meal but not on this occasion. Waitress very pleasant but lack of kitchen staff created a long wait for food. It would have been nice to be told that there would be a delay! When it finally arrive it was far from its usual standard very disappointed.The cashier did give a discount on drinks as s goodwill gesture but refused to say it was given because of the delays and poor service.

Service is appalling, it is the second time I have been here and had an exceptionally long wait for food, almost an hour to getting the starter and then again for the main meal. The first time i experienced these delays I was willing to over look it as a one off but then for a repeat experience the next visit??? I don't think I will return to this Prezzo.Update: The manager came out to speak to us and explain, although it doesn't make it right I very much appreciated what he did and it made all the difference. He was a decent person and acted in a very professional manner.

Come for evening drinks with a friend, and the staff were nothing short of fantastic! Fast and efficient with drinks and not changed by the fact we didn’t order food. Tasty, strong cocktails will definitely be back to try the food. Great atmosphere made the evening

I eat at prezzo fairly regularly usually the Grantham restaurant however this was the first time I have eaten at the Lincoln restaurant in a while and we were extremely disappointed. The service was slow and things were forgotten, not sure how as the restaurant was empty. Starters were lovely so we were willing to bypass the slow service however when the mains came it went seriously wrong, the risotto came out hard and over cooked so I ordered another dish the chicken which came out burnt tasted like the grill hadn’t been cleaned. When my partner took a bite of his burger he had the same issue. The complaint was handled well but unfortunately the thought of eating off a dirty grill is enough not to come back.

Strange night. Food was tasty, but slightly warm when we received it. Waiters great, but not enough of them. They never stopped, but had many tables and customers to serve. Management should give them more support. Probably wouldn't go back as other Italian restaurants close by.

Came here with my partner for our anniversary. I had an incredible evening here. The staff and service were beyond exemplary. We were never sat waiting for a waiter to take our order or to give us the bill; our drinks came straight after we ordered them; the food was brought to us at a steady pace, not too slow or too fast, perfect to relax and enjoy the evening and to not feel frustrated or rushed. The staff, including the manager were outstanding and took the time to talk to us, asking about our day as well as have a laugh and a joke. The food tasted amazing as always, I had the carbonara. 10/10 for cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant. Prezzo exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend. Really made my anniversary.

Had a lovely 3 course meal with my family. The staff are very friendly and James made us feel very welcome from entering the building to leaving the premises. The staff are very attentive, coming back and forth from clearing the table to making sure you have everything you need. Would definitely recommend a visit here if you want a superb experience

The food and service was amazing, really nice surroundings by the water. Our waitress Beata was fantastic, really friendly. Will return when we come back to lincoln
