Revival in Lincoln
Where is Revival?
🏠Corn Exchange, Sincil St, Lincoln LN5 7ET
"Restoring this historical building into a fabulously grand new bar and restaurant is certainly one not to miss. Standing proudly in the original Corn Exchange building, expect to see original marketplace adverts adorning the walls, portraits of those who previously walked the floors of the building and of course some rather elegant wallpaper!"

Almost 25 minutes for our waitress (or any staff) to acknowledge us and the table next to us after being seated. Food was mediocre, like a wedding banquet. Did not live up to reviews or the cost especially for the pre fixe Valentines menu. Then had the audacity to charge 20% gratuity for a table for only 2! No warning before being seated about gratuity being added. The server was friendly but again was not worth 20% especially since no manager ever came over to check on us. Maybe the atmosphere would have been better if they would have stop over serving the table of 4 in the same area that was drunk before we got there, finished dinner before we even got “course 1.” They were swearing, talking about puking, yelling and were STILL being served when we left. Will stick to Altius and Poulet Bleu!

Had a wonderful Pittsburgh Restaurant Week dinner here with friends. Food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent! I'd highly recommend!

The food here was very delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and gave us honest opinions on what food and drinks to order. Even better we got a tour after from a woman that used to live there! A very unique and fun experience.

What a beautiful experience. Verizon introduced me but the warmth and personality of the owner and the food which is beyond compare brought me back. Couple that with an incredibly elegant setting in a restored mansion and it's a home run. The gentleman who tended to us that evening was extraordinary. We never had to ask for anything. Needs were anticipated. Glasses kept full, silverware changed and complete communication and friendliness.

Excellent staff! Excellent food! We went as a part of the Verizon Up (rewards) and it was amazing. Definitely will be back again. Our waitress was so good (I wish I could remember her name!). All the courses were delicious and I would definitely recommend this place 10x over. There was a super picky table near us and the waitress handled them so so well. (The waitress was pregnant so I hope that helps get her the recognition she deserves!)

Frittata, BLT, cornbread, apple butter, shrimp and grits. If my photos don’t make you salivate, something is wrong with you. The flavor profiles on each dish we’ve had, are just delicious. Hats off to the chef, we’re always happy!

We made our reservations on OpenTable and it's important to note that the restaurant prefers to do them personally, since OpenTable gets things wrong. We tried to get a reservation for 3 and were unable to do so. We made a reservation for 2 instead and were seated at a table for 4. We told the restaurant about it and sadly it sounds like this is not uncommon for OpenTable reservations. The food was delicious even though they only had the selections for restaurant week, so options were limited. Sadly, they were unwilling to make ANY substitutions during restaurant week, so if you have allergies you may want to avoid restaurant week.Another warning to those with allergies... Items on the menu for restaurant week often did NOT mention all the ingredients (i.e. both desserts included chocolate, but only one of the desserts mentioned chocolate). When we return, I'm going to be sure to ask about all ingredients, since coffee is sometimes used in cooking AND in desserts and they may hide it somewhere without my knowledge. The food was great, they have a full bar (I wasn't impressed with their cocktail choices, but was able to get something I liked), and the service was wonderful. We'll definitely go back to check out their regular menu sometime.

Excellent food and great service. We got the whiskey glazed pork belly app, carmelized onion and mushroom gratine soup, and I had the grilled bone in pork chop. Not pictured is the pecan crusted salmon which I tried a bite of as well.

We enjoyed our first meal here Friday night and I know it won't be our last. The inventive cocktail list was great, and the white sangria was delicious. The food was flavorful and well-presented. Ambiance was comfortable but elegant. Highly recommend.
