Met a friend at the cafe and won't go again I can't understand how 1 tea bag in a mug can cost £1-45 wouldn't mind if it was a pot .I don't like huge mugs as too hard to handle when you have poor hands

Nice food and clean . Only concern is when sanitising the cafe tables it was spray and wipe but sure there needs to be a contact time for the sanitiser....just a thought

We decided to go to Sainsbury's cafe on Sunday (1st Aug), as we hadn't been there for a while. Unless you can drink coffee in a set generic way, avoid it. I do not like strong coffee, so I asked for a one shot latte with extra milk, the reaction of the so called female barista behind the counter was appalling. I explained several times that I could not drink strong coffee, but it was basically her way or no way. (I guess that she just wanted to press the coffee machine button?) Even though I was only having one shot of coffee, I was told that if I wanted extra milk it would be an extra 70p! I gave up in the end, shame it used to be a nice cafe, will not be going again thats for sure.

Good quality good staff can be a little slow cafe always seems under staffed but worth the wait

·

Can be a wait at busy times of up to 25 or 30 mins by which time you've drunk your coffee or it's gone cold. But usually service is pretty good and there's a very pleasant chap with a goatee beard who always says enjoy your meal Food is pretty standard but edible and reasonable priced.

Usually very good. Can sometimes be very slow at bringing food out due to no leadership and understaffing. Have seen food sat on side waiting to go out for 5 mins before. We have had just warm food before. When it is OK it is a very good place.

Never again, rude staff, left standing, when asked is anyone serving? I was told you have to wait,I'm training staff! I was the only customer,it was a quiet day. Yet there was plenty of staff. A member of kitchen staff finally came out of to serve me.they apologized. But it was not this guy's job!! He felt awkward,I'm sure. Terrible service.never again. They need training on customer service!! If it had not been such a hot day and I was so thirsty, and my grandson too.i would have walked away.bad impression to give yr new staff that yr training!!!!!.

Quite a standard Sainsbury's restaurant with good value food. You know exactly what you are going to get here. It is good for a lunch break. A coffee and cake or a sandwich. They do some hot meals here along with cooked breakfast with a vegetarian option.

Went for a late Sunday breakfast, had an early lunch. One taking orders and one preparing the hot drinks. In spite of their efforts, they were almost overwhelmed with the number of people queuing to be served. One of the coffee machines was being serviced, which couldn't have helped. Hats off to the staff for just getting on with things.

Ordered a tuna mayo jacket potato last Saturday... The potato was stone cold and there was hardly any filling in it either. Complained and had it replaced but it was still not too hot and the filling was even less than the first time. The mayo tasted vile as well. The only plus side was that the side salad was decent. My friend had a breakfast and the portion size wasn't very big to say it was classed as a bigger breakfast. Toilets were gross too. Probably wouldn't eat here again.
