The Duke William Lincoln in Lincoln

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Duke of William Hotel. The Room was lovely and spacious, bathroom great and breakfast very good. We also enjoyed a lunch which was equally scrumptious.The only small point worth noting is the Duke of William is more of a Pub so do expect pub associated noise on your stay but does cease once the pub has closed. We very much enjoyed the atmosphere and our stay!

We had a family birthday celebration yesterday. Absolutely perfect in every aspect. The food is incredible, with a great menu covering all dietary requirements. Wonderfully attentive staff who without being intrusive ensured throughout that we had all we needed. Special mention to Kya who gave excellent service, with a great attitude and an infectious smile. Will definitely be back.

Wow, lovely find on our trip. A proper English pub. Cask ales, good cider, huge choice of drinks. Went back for dinner and wasn't disappointed. The food was excellent, the service was prompt and the staff friendly and lovely. Wonderful place and people. Highly recommended on all levels

just had a delicious lunch here, we were a party about 20 yet all but one meal were delievered quickly and it was wonderful. i had the mushroom linguine and it was so filling and lovely that i wanted another bowl even though i was already full. other patrons were very generous and honest in the bar queue and the drinks were good. i would definitely come here again, even the garden where we sat was lovely and warm thanks to the heaters installed.

We had a fabulous meal here. We hadn't booked in advance, but the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Tables in the restaurant were very well spaced. The bar got very busy, with lots of lovely smelling hot snacks being served up!

Gorgeous food. Lovely variety on the menu from traditional dishes to gorgeous vegan options. Staff were fabulous really polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to return!

Absolutely wonderful staff. Superb pub. Great selection of beers n spirits n wines. Massive breakfast and top quality food. I just managed to eat it all but my wife couldn't. Maybe an idea to offer just one sausage, rasher, egg etc for those not wanting to pig out (as I did). The room was ok. Missed having a small fridge in it. Would like to talk to them re bathroom issues. Cheers guys.

Having dined at the Duke William previously, we had booked for lunch while in Lincoln for a Graduation ceremony and everywhere was extremely busy . The Duke William was no exception so we were glad we had booked. We had 2 courses for £16 ( mains and dessert) and the choice and quality of both courses was exceptional. Suzy, the waitress was run off her feet but remained pleasant and friendly and the atmosphere throughout the restaurant was lovely. There was a slight hiccup with the bill but this was resolved very quickly. I would highly recommend the Duke William and will definitely go again - a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Very pleasant dining experience, busy in the bar area but a good busy giving an ambience to the setting. My only critism is the food could have been hotter but the mushroom linguini was to die for, absolutely delicious, delicate flavouring with a range of mushrooms and the texture of pine nuts to add another dimension. Serving staff, very pleasant and will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Took a random gamble and booked a table for lunch with the Mrs and Mother.Really well decorated and comfortable surroundings,staff were absolutely fantastic (a huge well done to all staff),the real cask ales I tried were lovely…and then the food….I can’t emphasise how lovely the food was,we had main courses consisting of steak and ale pie,beef brisket,and pork linguine.All of these dishes were well presented and very tasty.The deserts were equally fantastic.The whole experience from start to finish was 10/10.We will return with our dogs (welcome) very soon.
